On a more personal note, I wanted to congratulate Santa Clara HS for their incredible weekend and being in finals for the first time in quite some time; SLV for their great performances and 3rd place finish while learning their routine a month ago and Washington HS for their National Championship win!

First, I haven't been to high school Nationals in almost 8 years so it was an "interesting" weekend but fun to see all the staff, team cheergyms and the various teams our amazing staff choreographs for. Way to represent cheergyms!
I'd first like to congratulate Christina (Pyramids Senior Black (PSB) member and my daughter) and her team - Oakmont High School for an awesome two days in Crowdleader and Large Co-Ed. Although you weren't a pop tart I was still very proud of you. Finals for both teams and 2nd and 3rd place - way to go!
On behalf of Danny and I, great job to Freedom High School and Hanford High School.
Finally, congrats Sabrina (PSB member) on your teams win Concord High School in Co-Ed Novice! Great job Taryn, Margaret (PSB) and Tiffany (PSW) with Clayton. And I can't forget Bui - I'm sorry I missed you but I heard you did great!
Congratulations to all of you it was a fun weekend seeing you all.
Thanks for recognizing the YV girls, I am lucky to have them on the team. One of our strongest bases dislocated her shoulder Thursday night and we had to redo a large portion of our routine on Friday morning (the day we competed) and although we did not make it to finals, the girls did an amazing job pulling the routine together. THANK YOU to the cheergyms staff and family who cheered for us, it was appreciated.
