I was just wondering if standing fulls were too hard for girls, even on top gun coed there are only 1 or 2. How many California team are throwing them in competetion?
Power Large has about 7 as does Cheerforce , same number. I know a little girl on Cali Small Junior might have one. A girl from Pride Champions in vegas throws one too.
Top Gun Coed is not a good example of girl tumbling. Those girls look to have been picked exclusively for their size and flexibility. They are, as a group, not strong tumblers at all. (The guys obviously make up for that.)
Look at some of the big all-girl teams, they will typically have 5-15 standing fulls.
I think it is naturally harder for girls to learn any kind of flips. It can be done and I think a great example would be cheer athletics panthers. They throw an outrageously large number of.them in their routine.
If it is in them, they will succeed... Look at your Youth and Jr 5 teams. There a tons of younger girls that have the standing full. As a Senior, yes I think it takes more work to succeed, if you are able to succeed. Sometimes gravity just doesn't want to cooperate.
