I think it was pretty obvious that one programs crowd was just over the top supportive of all of their teams. They supported ALL teams, not just the level 5 teams.
Do you think that it helps them or that they crowd does not really even matter. As an athlete, do you think you would perform better if you had a crazy crowd like that
Since this has been discussed in the past I already know my daughter's answer...she LOVED it! It definitely got her pumped up and ready to shine like a rock star.

HAHAHAHA wonder who you are talking about????
My daughter says it pumps them up and they love seeing and hearing the crowds reaction. It brings out the performance in these great athletes! The energy in both teams performances last night (well IF you are talking about who I think you are) after 2 days of competing proved that right.
I am a level 5 cheerleader, our team is really good, but I would give ANYTHING to have a crowd like _ _ _ _ _! I think we would cry if our crowd made noise like they do! I can only imagine how good that must feel! Does it help? How could it not? Our crowd just stands there and watches.
As a former competitor who knows what it feels like to have the crowd going wild, I always yell as loud as I possibly can when I'm supporting my teams. Of course it helps.
For sure it helps Power. I do not know who is better their teams or their crowds. The commitment that the parents make to cheer like maniacs is awesome to see. does it give thme an extra first place or two at comps--maybe. I think those coaches should really thanks those parents because they flippin rock
My daughter says they LOVE IT!!! There is no better feeling as a parent then to support your child's team like that. You think it looks and sounds good - you should be in the middle of it. It's electric! I will tell you this noone can make the parents cheer that way it's just what they want to do to support the kids.

Good luck to all teams going to World's.
That is amazing to hear that parents look forward to cheering for their kids like that. Your kids are lucky to have such supportive parents. It makes it a differnent experience for them and it makes it much better. Love those crazt rooting parents.
Ok, I want to know the secrets in making this happen? The owners of our gym beg for our parents to do this but it just doesn't come to together so well. I personally scream and yell my loudest for each of our teams but there are many others who do not.

How does Power make this happen so perfectly?
i think maybe investing in thunderstix will help you out.
Coaches at POWER are inspiring and have amazing energy for what they do (did you see how great they were all weekend?). They create the environment for the athletes and the parents...from Mini 1 to Senior 5...all teams are important.
It is definitely a toss up between Cheer Odyssey and Power. We've been at several comps in the last couple years and the only difference between the both of them is Cheer Odyssey doesn't pound those sticks. But they are pretty darn loud.
I wish our gym was that loud. What a great crowd of parents!

i agree. you really dont see owners getting excited for all there teams like John does.
A loud crowd does help with your scores....Not only does it make your cheerleaders perform better it also helps in the "crowd appeal" and "overall" portions of the scores.
I wish I could get it through my parents heads that loud = better
You personally know the owners of most programs? You must to make that statement. Some do not wish to be the focus! It's about the kids.
I am the poster of Loud = better. I am confused by this? Was this directed to me? if so, I never claimed to know any owners. It is a true statement that a loud crowd helps with scores. It is about the kids and the scores they receive when doing what they love. If the croud can help them get higher scores then why not?
