Actually three bids where given out today.  The third bid was an international bid which went to the level 6 team from Pace.  Congratulations to all the teams that competed today super 6 was definitely fun to watch.  Regardless of what is said on here about how the winners were picked one thing is for sure....POWER (as a program) simply AMAZING.  They managed to take the competition to an entirely different level today.  Im not sure what was more fun to watch their teams, crowd or coaches jumping up and down going back and forth for all their teams.  LOL

Way to go Pace!  We love you.  You guys rock!

Power teams were amazing this weekend. Everyone saw that and good job to them. what I was really amazed at was their crowd. They got up and went crazy for every team they had. The crowd was just as loud for the mini 1 as it was for the senior 5. their athletes must feel  so loved. anyways loved the support.

Go POWEr, I love POWER! You guys rocked yesterday

I only went to the competition on Sunday and I was a little late in arriving. I've also figured out that I cannot watch a competition without a schedule in my hand, so I admit I only paid attention to a few teams.

I was impressed with the performances of Divas and Legends yesterday, but now after reading what they went through...it's just that much more amazing! Kudos to your teams!

CWT Jr L2 won their division beating POWER! Congrats many times over!

Airborne L5, you all were outstanding!!

The Super Six...AMAZING!!! I would hate to be a judge for this! I say this every year and every year it's true! Every team looked extremely strong and with small tweaks the results could have easily been different. I can't wait to see the videos, so I can watch them all again and again and again!

Power as always was simply amazing to watch. They put such an amazing and entertaining routine. Congratulations!!! I agree with other poster that say it is also fun to watch their fans and their coaches during the routine. You can't deny it....there is a lot of love and support in that gym. Keep doing what you are doing Power and we will keep watching and admiring you all! Best of luck to all your teams at Worlds!

Not to start any drama. I stayed and watched Super 6 and have this question. Did the scores from the earlier run throughs count. Power large was by far the best in Super 6 just in terms of the difficulty. When they hit your jaw hits the floor. How did they not win Super 6. Did scores from the earlier rounds count. I know on Saturday they were not great

No, the scores from the earlier round does not count.  When you qualify for SUPER 6, you start new.

Thread has been cleared of assorted smack-talk and gossip. If the coaches and owners of those programs would like to discuss those things then have at it, but anonymously we're not just going to sit here and throw names around (especially those of children). This is a GSSA results thread and there's plenty to discuss!

I would like to commend all the teams that went on yesterday!!  I especially would like to recognize Motions Senior Co-ed their performance on Saturday was the best one of the season IMO.  And although their junior team got second I think they placed correctly (All Star Elites did really good).

And Pace Allstars were amazing!! wow.

These score do not reflect super 6 because scoresheets were not used. These are the scores for the 2 day session. Good job to all teams. You all did great.

Long Weekend . I need a t least a week to recover.

Highlights:
I really enjoyed the crowds for the Super 6. All the teams seemed so supported and I would of loved to be a part of that. The energy was electric.

I enjoyed the follwoing performances the most:
Power Senior 4: can those girls be more entertaining. they seem like they have the most fun during a routine. They were so clean. I have loved that routine the whole year and they just dont ever dissappoint.

Cheer Odyssey- I really like their Junior 4 routine. Lots of talents and spunk. Was not sure of the placement. Would of thought they would be a little higher.

Motions Coed 4.- They are just so talented. How can you not de drawn in that. I thought their pyramd was very dynamci

Power Small and Large 5- Both teams left me with my jaw on the floor. they seemed like cheering machines. I dont know how they put together routines like that but more power to them. good luck at worlds

I've read this thread before it was cleared and there are a lot of things that I want to say that I know I can't...but I just want to thank EVERYONE yesterday for their amazing show of support for us and our kids. The cheer world can be pretty volatile at times and I know up here a lot of us coaches and owners have had our differences and the kids occassionally talk smack to each other at school and whatever...

But yesterday we had some people in our corner that just floored me (and you know who you are, haha)...you never know who your friends are until you find a common bond with someone.

We are fine, we will be fine, and of course our kids are fine and SO ready for next season and what's coming. We will see a lot of you at Jamz!

On behalf of myself and Holly and Jody and every last one of our kids, THANK YOU.

I was at the comp both days from beginning to end and I thought the competition was run well and all the teams were impressive. ALL the teams in super six were amazing and could go to worlds and proudly represent California. I am a parent of a cheerleader from Cheergyms.com. Did Power deserve to win, yes. But I just want to say that All American from cheergyms had a great weekend. Every girl and guy out there left it on that stage and I could not be prouder of that team and program. I want to say thank you to Morton, Danny and Derick for making your program a first class operation. It is like a family and there is no place my daughter and I would rather be. Good luck to All American at Worlds I know you will make us all proud.

I agree, AA had a GREAT weekend.  Not a cheergyms parent and we were impressed with not just the skills but the positive attitude that comes from your athletes.  They come out, bring it and seem have a great time doing it!  Good luck to you at Worlds!

PS- The support your organization has from the parents and coaching staff is great to see also.  We enjoyed cheering you on!

Wow, what a long weekend it was. I think all the teams and programs did great throughout the weekend. My favorites were Power both Small and Large. I feel Power large was slightly better in the Super 6 but Power Small was more consistant throughout the weekend. I loved Cheergyms All American team but thought they might have dropped down to 4th after the stunt fall and sloppy and times. I also enjoyed watching Stars Extreme and thought they would have moved to 3rd, I think they had 2 or 3 hands down on tumbling but there jumps and stunts were strong.  Nor Cal was fun to watch. We love the boys on that team. And American was good in the Super 6. They looked to struggle on day one and two and barely made it and did pretty good. My standings would have been:

Power Large 1st (prize money)
Power Small 2nd (partial paid bid)
Stars Extreme 3rd
All American 4
Nor Cal and American about even for 5 and 6th.

I would have liked to see Airborn and OC round out this competition. Airborn had some problems on day 1 but on day two they looked good.

Again, this is just my opinion.
