---POWER great job. Deserved to win. However, after that dont know what happened.---
Are you saying POWER Large didnt deserve 2nd if not 1st??? If so, you were at a different comp than me!
And there are some teams that have FULL squad fulls (I dont think anybody meant standing), we all know who they are!
No... POWER great job. POWER meaning both teams. And again what team has full squad fulls running or/and standing at the competition??See how things can be misunderstood.
Amazing job today to all teams. Power Small and large. You guys were just unbeleivable. You were so much fun to watch. I would love to be able to cheer for a crowd like that. Your crowd looked like they were having more fun than you. Once again, you amazed me. Good job to all of the teams
I don't think GSSA is a joke. Placements for Super 6 were definitely in the right order. You can't blame the kids who bust their tails. If you're on a level 5 team, expect to compete against the best of the best. Many of the teams had a numerous amount of fulls and doubles, and stunts were rock solid. I think all 6 teams that made it to SUPER 6 deserved to be there. AND THEY ALL LOOKED AMAZING! I hope they all continue to set higher goals for themselves. They should be proud.
I am new to all star cheer. I had never seen the Power level 5 teams before today. I saw their others in Sacramento. I am still trying to pick up my jaw!!! They were beyond words. I have never seen such talent , and energy in person. I can only dream that someday my daughter can perform like that. WOW!
Order of Super 6 is as follows: (Only 2 bids were given out.)
1. POWER Small Senior (Partial Paid) 2. POWER Large Senior (bid passed due to PAID bid rec'd @ American Grand) 3. Cheergyms.com All-American team (bid passed due to bid already rec'd) 4. American Large Senior (bid passed due to bid already rec'd) 5. Stars Extreme (BID RECEIVED BY GSSA) 6. Nor Cal Elite Coed (Bid not received yet)
Don't think so, they already have a bid, just didn't understand the judging. Had they got another one, it would have been a bonus. So wrong wrong wrong

Are you talking about POWER Small?? I'm sure you'd take a partial paid over an at large any day... So RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT!! THEY COMPLETELY DESERVED IT!

This is referring to the statement
hahaha cant believe i sat here and read all this.. sounds a little like someone's upset they didn't receive a bid

Actually three bids where given out today. The third bid was an international bid which went to the level 6 team from Pace. Congratulations to all the teams that competed today super 6 was definitely fun to watch. Regardless of what is said on here about how the winners were picked one thing is for sure....POWER (as a program) simply AMAZING. They managed to take the competition to an entirely different level today. Im not sure what was more fun to watch their teams, crowd or coaches jumping up and down going back and forth for all their teams.LOL
Of course Power deserved the bid! No doubt. I think what people are doubting is the placement within super 6 and the fact that scores/deductions were not used.
Isn't the point of having "super 6" is to have the top scores from all divisions (and therefore differeing judging pannels) get judged by the same panel of judges so that the scores would be more accurate in relation to one another? How is orally ranking them more accurate than just taking initial scores?? I would argue its the same, if not worse.
Again, not putting down any of the teams, I think they all did really well and Power was clearly the bid winner.

OMG! i love watching the POWER fans just as much as i love watching all their teams. they have the best fans on the west coast (i use this lightly, i havent seen other gyms on the east coast LOL). And their coaches always bring the energy to their kids! i absolutely love it
WAY 2 GO POWER!! another successful competition weekend!
