Where was American for bid awards???? I think as coaches and owners you would try to get your kids to awards in full uniform. That just looked really bad. JMO
At Large: Supreme Cheer - limited co-ed Mac's Cheer - small senior 5
International: (the only two international teams) Jamz Fierce
Finals: 1st - American Large: did amazing, I'm sure starz extreme and them were EXTREMELY close for the full paid. 2nd - West Coast extreme: they have a full paid bid, so was it an off weekend? 3rd - Cheerz: dropped a stunt, need more #'s in tumbling
1st Starz Extreme: Kudos. 2nd YAY SUPREME! the first time I have seen them all year and they did fantastic. The Jump from small all-girl to co-ed was a smart one. 3rd Cheer Odyssey:
Small Senior 5: placements were CRAZY! 1st - Mac's (duh, 6 standing fulls and full ups, enough said) 2nd - Pride Athletic Champions - bombed, score taken from first day. 3rd - Fierce - Jamz loves fierce, their senior 2,3,4 all got first. entertaining? 4th - OC all stars - HIT THE ROUTINE!! 5th-Victory Cheer - looked off, judging didn't play to their strengths 6th-Airborne - looked better than first day, dont know what happened. 7th-Fusion - did better than the first day, but overall too many mistakes 8th Spirit Athletics - did really well, overall it was a hard division.
Competition was based on "entertainment" vs. cleanliness or skill which is why - starz extreme got full paid bid over american and mac's (who have more difficulty). - small senior 5 was so..different?
ALSO, score was the higher score from either day, IE:which is why even though OC ate it on day one, they hit solid (even though they watered down) on day 2 and moved them up 4 places. -

Stars Extreme did something right!!!
Yes they did....it was an amazing competition for all of Stars Extreme's teams....they should all be very proud of how they are going out! I think the coaches of Stars Extreme deserve so much credit....it doesn't matter how much talent a program has if you don't have the coaches to put it all together! Ami, Monique, Tara, Shelley, Debbie, Jessica, Melissa, Mindee, Britney and Michael.....you guys are amazing.....thank you for all of the time, energy, and love you have shown to my girls and our family!
Stars did amazing this weekend there is no doubt, American did awesome too but those falls got us! Stars turned out on top and congrats to them on earning the bid!

meant to respond to this one not the negative one!
what way...encouraging, gracious, positive and enthusiastic? I hope that never changes coming from a cheer organization or cheerleader!
way to come back classy American! ( I am not from your gym but hate to see teams get badgered by somebody negative!)
congrats Stars Extreme!! you've been chasing that paid bid and your dedication and hard work "paid" off. Haha! Good luck at Worlds!

Fierce was amazing. They deserved all of their wins. They have worked hard all season. Their Level 5 best I have seen yet.
Once again, thank you. Our teams definitely aren't the best in the world, but we are so fortunate and could ask for nothing more than to walk out of the door with such high places in all 7 divisions we competed in.
