Keep in mind, you never know what the situation is with any of the teams. For instance, Ca Flyers, level 5 had an injury on the team and had to put an alternate in. It changes everything. Especially when it is a very key player.

yeahh alot of teams had mistakes. didnt seem like a comp thats so close to the end of the season. i was really hoping rc would hit clean. theyre a great team and seem to have struggled this season. pace and west coast were both very good, i knew it would come down to one of them. i was expecting a great show from flyers sr5 too but i think they were better when i saw them at cheerpros 2 months ago.
i thought this would be a good competition because 3 companies put this together but why didnt they have a full size floor in warmups? they had one at cheerpros state championships. and what do you guys think about how all the teams competed for free (no entry fee)? i think it could've been better if they charged a small fee ... i know cheerpros and spirit club both gave nice jackets at their comps so why not at this one? cry

Cal Flyers always seem to have an excuse when people don't think they are as good as a worlds level team.  Face it... their team lacks difficulty!  Clean routine, just not level 5 difficulty.

This comp is over, no matter what the excuses are for each teams placements, it's over and done with and you can't change that.  Every time something dosen't go a teams way, people come on here and try to justify the results. Fierce was sloppy and a mess, california fyers were so-so it could have gone either way.  It just so happened that it went to the flyers..Could luck with the rest of the season.

The girl that was injured did the level 4 and the level 5 routine. She looked pretty hurt, and afterwards was all iced up and on crutches. What a determined athlete to do both routines.

Thank you. smile.gif
Yes, we actually had a few injuries too. Our coaches were proud of the kids' performances, considering the circumstances. Our girls are so determined, and wont let anything stand in front of them. As for our "blondie" she didn't throw any of her tumbling (obviously) or the jump section. Bless her little heart. Thank you asking.
"Keep in mind, you never know what the situation is with any of the teams", that is absolutely true. Our girls have been working hard, and will be ready for Vegas.

I have been involved with allstar for 10+ years with various organizations from mini to level 5 worlds.  I don't think I can even remember a comp when one of the teams did not have to deal with missing members or not being 100% due to injuries, vacations, illnesss (mono, pneumonia), death in the family, unpaid tuition, grades, school functions, the list goes on.  We have been fortunate that those gyms seemed to perservere (sp?) regardless.  They do their best, realize that every gym has issues and consider it a level playing field regardless.

california flyers killed fierce in the level five div, and fierce small 3 lost by three points not the one point they keep saying.  Grow up and face the fact that this wasn't a good comp for u and move on.  We all have...

California flyers, way to go.  You guys are going strong.  We saw you at Long Beach at Eric's first comp this year.   You all looked great.  Congrats on your bid.

Flyers wasn't that strong - they just happened to not have strong competition that day.  I'd like to see them compete against CheerForce Small 5 or CA's Small 5.

im not affiliated with fierce.. but when and where was fierce ever denying that it wasnt a good one for them?? or the fact that small 3 lost by three points and not one? does it honestly matter? 1 or 3.. they still came up short, but its not like it was by much. i personally thought they did pretty well.. ive always loved watching their level 3 team. and ive been following this board and havent seen one statement by fierce defending themselves... except about that girl who was hurt. you should take your own advice. grow up and stop attacking other teams. im not trying to get in the middle.. but it irritates me when i see people attack others for no reason, on a message board thats supposed to be about RESULTS. really. everybody needs to stop being so mean! lets all get a long =) congrats to everyone

i was really excited to see California Quakes come away with a win =) and a big one at that! they were awesome.. and i havent really seen them in a couple of years since their junior team was really big! maybe their gym is making a come back?!
Fierce's international team was very entertaining.. especially for being a first year team. i wasnt really sure what to expect, and i really liked it!
annnnd last but not least! STEALTH where the heck did you guys come from! your GREAT i love it.. cant wait to see what you guys do with yourselves next year =)
again congrats to everyone!

I was at this comp also, and fierce's level 5 team did look a little confused.  Hope they get it together for Vegas!  Good Luck!
