Sorry but I don't think you read the thread correctly. Max did not post the message with the "MOFO" reference. It seems an old team mate/friend of his assumed it was his posting because that person used cap locks. And if you keep reading you will see that the two of them are fine with it all. It was a simple misunderstanding. Lets not blame the wrong person here or make more out of this than is really there.

Great idea. Can someone explain the bids? At large bids can not be passed down correct? How did USA hand out their bids? p

I could be wrong but I think what that means is that the at large bids handed out to teams cannot be given to others should those teams end up getting better bids at another competition. They simply disappear, which makes sense to me.

Sorry I guess my response got lost. I believe what it means is that the at large bids that have been handed out to teams cannot be given to others if these teams end up getting better bids at future competitions. They simply disappear.

What did you hear about? I personally think it is weird that they gave Charlotte Allstars an at large bid when they already have a partial bid from Universal Spirit. The companies are supposed to ask if they will accept a bid and if not it is supposed to go to the next team. That is not considered a pass down but a pass over. So why didnt Stars Extreme get the bid?
