I just checked the new schedule too. It looks like Nor Cal and Cheer Divas is still not on it and they say they are supposed to be going......right? I did see that Motons Jr. 3 team is on and so is San Jose Legends but i didnt see power's special needs team..??
It seems like GSSA doesnt really have it all prepared yet and its only 2 days away.
Special needs teams are Sunday only. they perform last. I guess gssa wants to keep the anticipation high.
Alright Folks, lets not jump on GSSA's back. Coaches recieved an email that stated why you were not on the public schedule. It is the programs choices that recieved notice when to take care of the stuff they need to. Also, teams are still adding to this comp so that is why you see gaps and wholes in the schedule. For GSSA to keep the bids that they already have they need a certain amount of teams to sign up and they are below the number right now so that could explain the reason why they are still accepting registration. If you dont see your team on there yet and you know that you are going, find your owner and ask them why, it is not GSSA's job to let you know why you are not on the schedule. They are only responsible for contacting the coahes , which they already did.
It sounds like yes, there were errors in the schedule, and it was not just a case of late registration or other reasons mentioned. Nice to defend GSSA but it appears they made some mistakes that they are now fixing.

Lets remember that Power Large cant be in Super Six but they can still be in the Super Seven, meaning that last year they already had a paid bid and still competed for the cash prize, GSSA ended up taking seven to allow Power Large to compete for the money and have the experience of Super Six. I think the choices you made are accurate but with one more to add in since Power Large does not count in the actual 6 - I give it to Nor Cal Coed.

imo, i think adding another team cheapens it. power large isnt up for any of the bids, but they are up for the cash prize.
if we go by what you say, correct me if im wrong, but it souds like youre saying six teams should have a chance at the bid. since aa, power large, and starz extreme all have bids, then there should be 9 teams in "super six".
i wasnt a fan of seven last year, and wont be this year if it happens again. its super six and adding a seventh or eigh or ninth or thirty seventh is just another way of passing down a bid.
No I just said that since GSSA is only giving out a partial and an at large that Power Large does not need either. Does not take away from the other teams in the super six. By the way, I did not know that Starz Extreme had a bid already? Where did they get theres?

starz doesnt have a bid to worlds yet. american has an at large and all american team has an at large. idk about airborne or power small. cant wait to see who takes the bid!!
By my research the only teams that are competing for a bid that do not have some type of bid would be:
OC - clean Nor Cal Coed - but alot of the kids cross so not sure on what they would do. Cheer Odyssey - Not enough tumbling Airborne - good tumbling , only four groups for elites though. Stars Extreme - good routine.
I am in no way saying they should only be able to go for the bids especially since Power Small , AA and Nor cal all girl want that partial bid.
Pretty good! For the amount of kids on the floor the percentage of level 5 tumbling is not where it needs to be . For this specific competition when it comes to percentages of skills being thrown, Power large and small have that on lock and then cheergyms and then I think maybe american and airborne. I am not sure how gssa scores though.
