Boy! I wasn't expecting that! She is a pretty brave girl to go on national tv and tell her story.
Sidenote: I wanted to pinch the head off the man who made the statement about steroids and non-athletes. I get that he may have not meant it in this case, but....aaarrrrgggghhh!

Yea...I caught that too! When Isaw the tease first thing this morning I said to my wife..I bet it is in Texas somewhere...No slam on Texas...just had that feeling. They take their football and cheerleading SERIOUS!!!!
This is certainly a serious matter that needs the attention of the law makers and adminstrators of schools. There has been such a push to stop this behavior at the Professional sports levels, olympics, and even now at the college levels. However, the testing needs to begin at the high school level. I have wonder why there were so many young athletes with grown up bodies at 9th or even 10th grade. It's the drive for scholarships and the image that pushes the kids to think for the moment rather than long term. Parents/educators need to sit down and talk to your kids about the long term effect of steroids or any other drug. Let these kids know that they are beautiful just the way they are.
