well they had a ton of bids given out last year but looks like they don't have as many this year. 2 paid and 4 at large? are they also giving 4 more "at large" only to intl divisions?
from their website ----------------------------------- The top 2 scores from the National Champions from the 5 Senior divisions will receive a "Paid" bid to the 2008 Cheerleading Worlds. The remaining National Champions will receive 1 of the "At Large" bids. Any remaining "At Large" bids from the Senior divisions will be awarded to the 2nd or 3rd place teams from the Senior divisions at the discretion of the USA All-Star Nationals competition officials. NEW! - USA will award 4 "At Large" bids from the Small International Open and Junior Level 5 divisions listed above, based upon scores and/or a balance of representation from the divisions. ---------------------------------- Who has a bid already? american large 5, desert storm elite large 5 and intl jr... is az power extreme the one that got the paid bid at spirit sports?
that doesnt guarantee them a bid.. Ca Lrg Coed 5 didnt compete against anyone at Spirit Sports and they didnt recieve a bid.. so just cause you are in your own division doesnt mean you automatically get it.. you get it based on your scores.. duh

Each company chooses how they give out their bids. Each 1st place winner of the 4 divisions will get a bid, either paid or unpaid. The 2 division winners with the highest scores will get the paid bid.
On the other hand, Spirit Sports gave out their 2 paid bids to the 2 highest scoring teams. So if the top 2 scores came from the same division, a 2nd place winner could get a paid bid over a 1st place winner, if the 2nd place team had a higher score.
But, anyway, California allstars did get a bid at Spirit Sport, it was unpaid.

This isnt spirt sports, its usa. and at usa, the division winners win some type of bid.
I am so excited that CA will be there, especially their Small Seniors, they have worked so hard and have some bad luck in the injury department. I hope that they do well!
Well CA this is intended with only respect and jealousy, AARRGh sucks for us! I really really hope you get your paid bids this weekend @ NCA:)
Who are you referring to? I have always respected your program. I am amazed every season that the routines you put on the floor. Goodluck at NCA and USA.
