RE: GSSA

This is frustrating!  Competition is one 5 days away and GSSA hasn't put up the schedule yet.  Wow and I thought UCA was bad.  Heck this year they had it up early.

WE WANT THE SCHEDULE!!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's frustrated.  Put the SCHEDULE up already.

I agree, they make money on these comps, at least they could be professional and get the schedules out, we have to plan lodging and transportation. bleh

I'm waiting to see if I need to stay Friday night.  I'm just wanting to save $$$$$ as much as possible.  Maybe later on today they'll put it up.

Stop bashing GSSA. They have already sent the tenative schedule to the coaches. And before they put the final schedule up on the website they are making sure there are not changes or conflicts. In my opinion, I think this is the way to do it.  So hold on to your horses and it will probably be up by tomorrow. smile

I guess the feb 1st deadline doesn't give them time to make the schedule earlier. Give me a break

Do the coaches share "tentative schedules"?

Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you anything - just which divisions (like senior all-star cheer will be in the session from 5-8 pm, I think) are when.  So it's not really helpful if you're looking for who's going.

You are talking about the General Schedule. The Tentative schedule does have who is going and what time each team competes. It was emailed to all the coaches this weekend I believe.

its not about bashing gssa it is about being professional. they want the reg fees by a certain time then that means they should put a schedule up in a reasonable time period. like it was stated people have to book rooms and plan travel for a two day comp. this is ridiculous. gssa has been going downhill over the past feew years. if they are still allowing people to join the comp then that is all they need to say but put up the damn schedule.  if you are having a two day comp. post it 2 weeks in advance with a note stating subject to change and if it is a 1 day a week in advance is appropriate.  anything less than that is not good businiess practice. why is it not up yet? gssa orginization is a joke and i bet they are accomadating their favorites right now so that is the problem.  maybe if they spent less time on planning the tired long drawn out games and the damn cha cha slide they could find time to post the schedule

Does GSSA award grand champions for the other levels, or do they just concentrate on the Super 6. Like do they get a grand champion for Level 1's or even say the Mini division. Thanks in advance. Also what do the 1st place teams win if anything.

GSSA produced a schedule and gave it to the coaches.  Stop bashing GSSA and start bashing your coaches for not releasing the schedule to you.

Plus, they released a general schedule that is plenty to book your travel around.

lol...Its the general schedule!  You would think for $110 bucks per kid they would have the overhead to be organized to get the scheduled up in a timely manner.

Yeah, because it is the coachs responsibility to get the schedule out even though GSSA has a website and has all the info for almost a month.  Again give me a break.  It is GSSA who should put the schedule out and to wait this long is completely ridicules.  If they don't want complaints then act professional and put the schedule out in a timely manner.  Are they volunteer or do they get paid for running the tournament????????

Your coach has the schedule.  Why don't you just call them and ask for it?  Or, try calling GSSA itself and asking them.  Maybe their internet guy is on vacation.  Maybe their server isn't working.  Whatever.  The information is available for you to get.

Or are you just so lazy that someone has to bring it to you?
