If there is nothing wrong with crossovers then no one should be pointing fingers at anyone no matter what gym it is. I think we all forget what is the reason why we or our kids love this sport so much. Cheerleading makes you feel AWESOME! You feel alive, happy and free... and yeah you get to do your thang and show the judges what's its all about. Hey if your kid wants to hit that floor more than once at a competition then go for it. As a forum what right do we have to say that is wrong. As long as they are happy, heathly and their grades are good then cheer them on.
I really wish people would take a step back and think what cheerleading really is to them. What attracted you to it? What do you get out of it?
My daughter double teams at a smaller gym. It started as filling in for a girl that was injured. She loves it. She has kept her grades up, works hard and loves it. I see nothing wrong with it.
Em crossed over on two teams AND coached three different teams as well..... talk about LIVING at that gym
