3. West Coast Mavericks - always entertaining, not sure about this season yet
4.  Cheergyms - always puts on a good show.
5.  Cheerforce - High level team strong, but lower teams not to impressed
6.  Nor Cal Elite - love their dances
7.  So Cal Elite - Such history behind this team even with a new name
8.  OC Allstars - numbers cant lie
9.  Magic - great younger teams
10. Pacific Coast Cheer - so clean and fun to watch
11.  Airborne - new but places well at all the big west coast nationals.
12.  Cheer Odyssey - Growing everyday, nice parents great kids
13. Fierce - never dissapoints crazy amount of energy.
14.  Bladez - great new level 5 teams but love the style of all the teams.

Yeah but how many crossovers do you have.  I have heard that their are kids that do about 3 teams.  And what is the difference between your open 6 and international 6?  How many of your Small all girl 5 compete on coed too?  If you have that many that is great but I just feel that you have always looked like you have had more than you actually do.

I think these are correct, but I could be wrong...

AP - 5 teams
Airborne - 6 teams
CSE - 4 teams
Cheer Divas - 2 teams
CWT - 3 1/2 teams
cheergyms.com - 11 teams
POWER - 8 teams

edited: darn my slow typin' fingers!  the consensus seems to be cg has 12 teams, not 11

well its a rule in order to be on coed you need to be on another level team. meaning all girl 5 or jr 5

what if you only want or canhandle being on 1 team?  then you donot get to be on coed?  do you have to pay more money if you are on coed?

That is true, they are a huge gym with numerous members.  But it seems like this season for as many teams and members they have they have not been placing well at competitions.  What has changed??

The trouble with coming up with this kind of list is that it will be based more on favorite gyms/teams then actual results from competitions.  It would take some work to look at how many teams California gyms have and how they placed at competitions.

I think some major programs in cali that got left out are Titan Elite, Stars Extreme, and Supreme cheer. Titan looks very good and clean this year. I haven't seen Stars Extreme or Supreme but in the past few years both programs were strong!!!

I saw Stars Extreme at Jamz in long beach and there program looked good. I think they won program champions, and the tumbling and choreography award. I love their dances. Titan elite also looked good at the cheer pros. They are always very clean and tight. I havent seen supreme in a long time and just my opinion I never really like them. I love Power and Cali. Cheerforce is also one of my favorites. They looked so good in Vegas.

There is actually a website that recently ranked the top cheer gyms in the U.S.  It was very similar to this list but with teams from across the U.S (Power, Cheergyms, and California AS were on it).  Does anyone know what that web-site is?  I wish I could remember!

What is the largest gym in california? How many teams do they have? How many cheerleaders do they have? When are you considered large vs small?  Do all gyms have their own space or do some of them practice at a park or gymnastic facility? Just want to know?
