Last but not least my kid leaves happy.
I would add...
20. Everyone attending would clap for each and every team. Sure, yell loudest for your own, but applaud ALL of the teams - these are kids, they all practice for hours upon hours, they try their very best at competitions - everyone should be proud of them!
(I am always SO disappointed in the lack of sportsmanship that I see at competitions - teams, coaches, and parents included.)
I TOTALLY agree with # 20!!!! Let's all give it a try at the comp this weekend in Stockton!!!
Oh yeah, I like # 5 too!!! :)
I agree too!! And I want to add another one!
21. At the end of the competition everyone gets together in one big circle, holds hands and sings "Kumbaya"!!
If #5 would come true I'd get up and lead the crowd a a good ole chorus of Kumbaya, We Shall Overcome, or Happy Days are Here Again. You name it I'd sing it.
I like most of these except #11. I much prefer a competition or venue that allows the VIP area to have the fans standing!!!
I read the original poster's #11 as the competition not allowing random people to get up and get food or use the restroom or stretch their legs during another's performance (America's Best does this) - with which I agree.
However, if that's not what they meant, I agree with having the VIP section.

I meant the suddenly deciding to go to the snack bar, stretch yours legs, thing. It's not that hard to wait until a 2 minute routine is over to get up or sit back down. It's just polite manners.

15. Drama Free
And then I woke up
too funny! The gymnast in me "drops" to the ground everytime the music comes on so as not to obstruct anyone's sight. I make my kids do it too or stand some place where the view may not be great, but they are not blocking anybodoes view either.
In regards to 15 and 20...if we can do that, then we truly can have World peace!
