Quick note to USA... You give us printed schedules at the entrance (thank you) but it's NOT necessary to read each team in each category, each team that qualified and THEN the placements.
How about the placements along with "qualified" with their names. OR just read the entire placements. If they didnt get a trophy, just hand them the envelope.
Sheesh...... that took forever to read three different things for EACH category. And it was annoying. The announcer was a good sport for USA to do that to her.

what was the other competition fierce went to this weekend. On their website it says they brought home 6 first places but i am positive they went to a comp on saturday and then another on sunday. Anybody know? any videos of them up yet either? love them, dont think my team will be running across them.
She's doing High School only this year! They did well but got a huge penalty so it knocked them out of contention. It wasn't a choreography mistake, it was a mistake during the pyramid that couldn't have been avoided, so no one was upset. Life happens. One flyer was losing her balance so she grabbed another flyer's hand and I guess that's not allowed.
I was thinking OC didn't do so well at the competition. What was weird was, EVERYONE was off that day for some reason! It was kinda weird!!! Even the winning teams did weird things for mistakes!!!! So at least we weren't the only ones!

So Cal Elite ended up not competing in this division and West Coast Mavericks performed, but weren't competing...that's why you don't have any placements

Oh and I agree, however, the reason they do this is because they give out the participation ribbons to each team and some teams don't qualify and don't place, so in order to give them ribbons at the ceremony they announce all the teams in the division.
I agree that it takes too long though, and all the kids are confused as to why their names are called three times and why they only go up to get stuff twice.
