Here ya'll go...well, it's just a link.  When I tried copy/paste the format was wonky, and I'm too lazy to edit it or re-type it.

If you're going to move up to level 4 this appears to be the time to do it looking at the schedule.  Good luck!

Do the teams that compete by themselves still receive jackets and a banner? I know at some comps you have to have 3 or more teams in the division to win the jackets and banners...is this one of those comps????confused

If it's 3 or more that will leave out those who only have two in their division, wouldn't that be a shame?

I hope they require a top score to earn jackets and banners.  It would not be fair to exclude anyone from it just because AC didn't get enough to sign up.  Maybe those competing alone can move to another division?   What is the cutoff date for moving I wonder?

I could be wrong but, I don't think you have to have three or more in the division I think you get the banner ect.. even if your're going against yourself

I believe that is correct.  It is unfortunate there isn't another way to judge when you are by yourself in a division because believe me our girls do NOT want to go against nobody.  They are working just as hard as everyone else and will give it their best on that stage this weekend.   There will be at least four (maybe five) divisions with no competition, and we will be cheering just as loudly for them as for the others; I hope we all keep in mind this is not their fault.  Gyms make decisions based on the talent they see and put them in the appropriate category.  The rest is out of their control.

That was kinda mean/rude.  There is always an under current with some of these comments.   But that's ok actions speak louder than words.  It's time to just think about your own teams and gearing up for a National title.  Stop trying to knock teams down.

Two years ago, my daughter was on a team that entered a category with no competiton.  That very year they competed as if they did have competition.  They scored so high that they GRAND championed!  I think they beat out ohhhhh about 22 teams for that title.  So, you all need to think at a broader level.   It doesn't matter if their is no other team in the category when you are looking to GRAND CHAMPION!!!!

I can't speak for the post but perhaps they meant for a Nationals competition there really is not that much competition in level 4.   It's more like a regional.  Typically at a Nationals you will see A LOT more, and last year at this competition there were plenty in the senior level 4 division.  So I don't think they were trying to knock teams down, just stating the fact, now really is a good time to try it out.  I don't see anything wrong with that statement.  I think people try to read more into these posts than what was intended.

I think there are more like 7 or 8 divisions with only one team, if you count what NCE will be bringing.   I agree, competing for that Grand Champions award will be great incentive for them.

i didnt take it as being rude but def getting in a dig.  but oh well it is what it is right?

Nationals doesnt mean the same thing anymore! there are way too many nationals and tons of orginizations and teams get national titiles with out competing against anyone.

io think the arguement is dead now until nationals goes back to being true nationals
