To the POWER member or parent who posted above, stay off the boards. This is a classic example of why I dont allow you to post. It starts a debate / controversy that is not needed. Instead, use your spare time to work on skills (if a member) and not post messages. Super strong fingers from typing so much wont do us any good on the cheer floor (LOL), but better tumbling, jumps, or flexibility could. Be wise young grasshopper on how you use your time over break

Is that in our parent contract that every parent has to adhere to??

Thanks to you, now it will be.blehblehblehblehbleh

Seriously!

That is classic. I love it.

I love how John is like the top dawg to his gym.  Hehe.  He just comes on here and lets our his growl and the kids and parents get very quiet.  It is a smart rule though.  Why get caught up in this drama. It is addicting.

How does John stop the parents and kids from coming on here.  I mean, yeah sign a contract but since it is anonymous, how much can you really do besides hoping someone will tattle (if thats how you spell it...eeeeeeeeee).

I guess the parents and kids can't answer this one so if John makes it on again, maybe he can let us know.

OK, to rap this one up.  Power and cheergyms aren't the only gyms that use this technique.  they say "up" or some use "swing hit".  That being said, it is a technique for timing and also to help the cheerleaders pull there jumps up higher and motivate them.  As some do find it helpful.
