Funny story..well at least in our house. During the holiday break, we watched the Bring it On movie series (haven't gotten the 4th one yet) My five year old daughter who does not cheer yet, made a comment as we were watching the 2nd movie. She says "Ohh Daddy look at Onyx!" Onyx is our youth level 2 team. Everybody in the house hit the deck rolling with laughter. Can't wait to get to the gym today and share that with everybody.

Lest you think she does not know what she sees...when we were watching the World's DVD's she is pretty good at telling the teams that hit and did not...or whcih were "pretty or they didn't look so good."

Very cute. I love to hear stories like that. I can remember when my daughter was about 2-3 and would watch the cheer comps on espn, and try to do everything they were doing. She would tell us "Ima be a show-leeda when Im 6" (thats exactly how she sounded lol). We just laughed it off and said "Okay hunny..." Little did we know, because as soon as she turned "6", she was asking to be on a team.... and here we are 6 years later, and its her entire life.aww.gif

Thanks for the warning...lol! My 15 year old may remain with it for her final three years. i hope so. The colleges she wants to go to, she will not have to be a superstar tumbler to make the team.. Which is good for her because that is her weakest area currently...and here i am the Tumbling Director...rofl!

Now my 5 year old is something different. She will probably end up being one of those 9 year old wunderkids who is flying all over the place. She is so small she literally rides her mother's rolling backpack through the halls of her school. The 3 year old says she wants to cheer but I think she will be happier playing football...rofl.

I can't believe I didn't run out and buy this as soon as it hit the shelves. And I still haven't seen it. Sounds like its getting good reviews and I need to go out and buy it.

It's actually pretty entertaining, I was surprised when I watched it. My daughter has watched it 4 times already. blankstare
