The results from this comp were outrageous, way off base.
SCV should have taken 1st in Smll Sr 3 hands down. They had a clean performance and executed well.
Bladez Sr 5- Envy was AMAZING. They should have taken 1st for sure. All of Bladez teams look very strong this year they had some issues, but they are definately great routines and will do well this season.
Ca Surf looks good this year, congrats on your performances.

Good luck with future comps everyone.
i concur. Bladez envy should have taken first no doubt in my mind. ca surf, wayyy better than ever before. scv- yep, should have taken first as well.
i think we forget sometimes that the judges score subjectively. but how can it be so off in placements???

perhaps the judges they had weren't qualified idk just a thought....anythings possible
i think maybe the judges were sitting too close to see everything. they may have been looking at one thing while something else was going on and they missed it. i think they were like 3 feet away from the stage and not even on a higher platform or anything.
I kind of saw that coming. I was sitting ringh in the front like 3 rows from the judges and as soon as the DVAS cheerleaders walked in they walked right up to them and started talking to them, giving them hugs, and taking pictures with them. I guess it pays to know people that work for the competition company.

i did not witness this happen however when our teams went down to watch our sm sr 5 i did notice that their parents were sitting in the very first row. It may have been them, but i am not for certain. the results for sr 5 were wack though. A large team with 4 recycled fulls beat a small sr 5 with about 12. I watched this division very closely and bladez i think maybe, maybe at most had two touch downs. these were on the jumps to tucks, not corner passes. I didnt see any doubles from dvas like i did from bladez either.
their sm jr 2 looked pretty good. It looked like they had a tumbling issue right at the beginning of the routine. Junior coed 5 - a stunt either fell or came down early on the pyramid. Sm sr 3- beginning stunt one of the flyers let go of her leg. tumbling issues, pyramid looked very good at the beginning but when they went back up to their outside hitches, one side came down. Full down stunts, one cradled early. Not that obvious however, timing was off. their dance was HOTTT!!! those girls surely know how to work that dance. It was probably the best dance i saw all day. sm sr 5- amazing. Looked to have a few squatting in the back due too injuries but did they ever pull that routine together. it looked soooo good. they deserved that first place trophy. not fair, but judging is subjective. i dont think anybody had as good of a performance as bladez sr 5 and i think that may have been due too the break most gyms just got back from. Having two or three practices are needed just to get back into the swing of things and then actual competition practice. while these may not have been the performances any coach would want, i thought they looked good and strong as a program. Not only were their teams good, but their cheering section was huge. for only having 4 teams at their gym they have a great amount of support from friends and family that were super loud, i was in utter shock programs with 6+ teams werent even as loud as them. Good job to bladez cheerleaders and coaches. you have grown greatly in the last few years. keep it up and practice hard it will always pay off.
WOW! Again, thanks for all the nice things said about our program. All teams have been practicing with full focus this week and hope to put on a great performance this weekend. Our family and friends are wonderful and very much appreciated! Good Luck to ALL teams attending!!

BladezCoach, are you guys still accepting cheerleaders? We just moved to cali and went to that comp to see what some of the teams were like and my children fell in love.

on behalf of bladez, you can reach the gym at 1-888-90-cheer (24337) or you can email the gym with any questions at either info@bladezcheer.com coachorby@bladezcheer.com coacheddie@bladezcheer.com

you should probably call or email the gym to get more information. most gyms do accept kids throughout the season depending on availability of spot openings on the team(s) your child(ren) may be qualified for.
of who- i know bladez isnt allowed to post anything or trade music with anyone until this season is over. if thats who you are looking for, nothing should be online of them from this season what-so-ever.
