Was searching youtube for American Grand videos...found this video of CA Jr's last year- I hadn't seen it before..this is probably one of the top jr routines I've ever seen!
Yes, this team was definitely one of my fav junior 5 teams ! Could a Ca Bullet person please tell me what happened to them? Last season Ca had both a small and large jr 5 team, right? The Sr. team is small this season so clearly they didnt all jump to sr status. I read on another board that Ca also has an international coed team that I guess has not premiered yet? Is the international team and this large jr 5 the same? I sure hope so because I was looking forward to seeing the young ladies this season.
if im not mistaken, i would assume this is how things went down. I am pretty sure they only had one jr5 last year which was large all girl. Then, i am pretty sure last year they had a small sr 5 and then they had their coed team. What i think happened is that a few sr coed athletes aged out and started the formation of the international team, sr small girls and jr kids were put onto sr coed and small sr, and younger jr kids made up this years small jr.
Ahaaa! That makes sense. They look great but seem to be rebuilding (only when compared to last season). I can't wait to see them later in the season. I'm sure they have lots in store for everyone. Ca is one of my favorite programs.
CA only has a sm jr5 this year but they are much stronger than the large jr was..more evenly distributed skills..they have 2 stunt section one where they max out with 6 and the other shows gorgeous flexibilty and a cool stunt transition. lots fo tumbling they are very good..they got 1st in their division in vegas after being second day 1 to Woodlands.
