Any updates on the International 5 Divisions? They finished around 2:00 and no word how they did. Where are all our folks with updates? We have cell phones and text messaging and we are all dieing here!

Small Sr 5 should have just finished and Lrg 5 should just be starting. Hope they give you a great show! Just think of it as a preview of Worlds!

According to the schedule the last team goes on at 8:25. Figure delays...awards...etc...we probably won't hear anything until 9:30 or so. Keep us updated OC Mom.

Ok OC Mom...lets decode what Em said based on the schedule. We are moms/detectives and can figure this out. And by the way...this is Large Sr 4 not Small Sr 4.

I am home alone (with my 3 boys). I am not use to not being at the comps. So, this message board has been a savior. I thought I would try and return some of the favors. I am new to this so I hope it works. I just got off the phone with my wife from the floor. The Sm coed level 5 just finished. It looks like AA coed was solid. But, perhaps not as good as yesterday. Hopefuly they hold their #1 spot. NCE looked good enough to perhaps move past Flip Factory. They announced awards to begin at 10PM. We will have to wait until then to get the "official" results. I hope I did not violate any message board etiquite. I am just trying to be helpful. Stay tuned...

Em said that last place was a team from Texas. So maybe that will help? lol She's not like us plus she isn't used to just watching. But she's having fun running into lots of people. I keep getting texts "guess who I just saw!!!"

Thanks Anon 8:42. Your update is great. Can't wait to hear the results. It sounds like maybe the Limited Coed div may not get high enough scores to get any of the bids. I hope I am wrong. We've got 2 teams from norther california in there. It would be great if one of them at least gets a bid.

the bid breakdown happens like this:

each division winner (sm sr, lg sr, sm coed, lg coed) will receive a bid. the top two scores of those four divisions will receive the paid bids. the remaining two will receive at large bids. the last two at large bids will be given to the top two scores of the remaining teams.

Thanks Nelson. That helps clarify the bids. So if AA Limited Coed gets 1st place they will get some bid.

Now...if a team accepts an At-Large bid and later they get a Paid bid, can they still accept the paid bid? I think the answer is yes. And then that at-large bid cannot be passed down to the next team as it was last year.
