South Coast Sr Jazz got the partial paid bid. Underground from Alaska, got an at large for International Hip Hop Champion Cheer --(at large) Sr Hip Hop
Ok, can anyone give their opinion on ALL (ok most) teams that competed in this first big competition. Like details on Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 teams? Were there any surprises in this group? Also, can someone give some insight into why some of the teams who were expected to do well fell short? Like Fierce's L5, Calif Bullets Small Sr. 5 and Nor Cal Elite??? I had big expectations of them.

First, virtually NO ONE had a clean routine, and a lot of the heavy hitters had some MAJOR issues. Right now, Cheerforce Small Senior and Arizona Power Extreme Small Senior are the first two in line for worlds bids, followed by California Coed, Power Large Senior, Cheer Central Suns Coed, and Power Small Senior.
Woodlands Elite large senior was a hot mess. Don't get me wrong, I love that team, but they fell all over the place and are fairly far down in the ranks right now.
Cheerforce Small Sr. and Arizona Power Extreme Small Senior were absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Kiara is a KEY factor in Cheerforce's success, but that team is just amazing. Big time contenders. Az power extreme had a few tumbling busts, but they're right up there with the best of em'.
Power large senior was pretty dang good, but dropped two stunts which is KILLER in this competition. The deductions can really hurt you here. They hit the 12 stunts in the beginning and then dropped two in the group section.
Bullets coed looked AMAZING, standing double, great stunting, and the best tumbling I've ever seen from this group. A few tumbling busts is what's keeping them out of the paid bids position right now.
Surprise surprise, everyone else makes mistakes and a gym comes out and shocks everyone. Cheer Central Suns Coed came out and really rocked their routine and find themselves in a great position.
The worlds international divisions were not great, but Cheer Central Suns' juniors and Cheerforce's junior coed were both GREAT and are 1-2 for that bid by not much. That will be a great battle today.
The small junior 5 division is one of the tightest races out there. CA Bullets was good, but Woodlands Elite came out and showed everyone up. They are just PACKED with difficulty. But, bullets re-did a lot of sections in their routine, so it's much cleaner now. So they both look Awesome. Both had deductions, so we'll see.
CA's Small Senior 5 once again experienced a rough competition, and are down and out of the worlds bid race. They had some severe falls in the very beginning of the routine and a girl was clearly hurt (couldn't even jump) but they kept going and lots of stuff didn't go. It was sad for that team.
If everyone hits today, it could be a different story when the rankings all come out. We'll see!
thank you for providing this
Kiara is an amazing tumbler, but she isn't the only person at that gym that can tumble. I saw the highest Arabian through to double from a guy on Rockiez and the guy that does that last pass on that team is amazing as well. They don't tumble back but still they had a lot of talent. Kiara may be the best tumbler there, but she doesn't make or break them. One person can't win a team sport.
Congradulations to POWER and Cheerforce for the paid bids! And all the other teams who recieved at large! Power and Cheerforce both had strong performances on Saturday and Sunday, so those bids were well deserved!! Great job ladies!

Details....Details...Details!
yeah many of the lv 5 teams made some major mistakes and had difficulty this weekend. It was QUITE obvious that if some of these mistakes weren't made..the placements would be VERY different. not bashig anyone..but im sure there is no dispute that without Cali Lrg Coed's mistakes both days..They would have had the highest score of the competiton FOR SURE..i feel bad for them because their routine was the most impressive there and the entire auditorium was resounding with the voices of everyone in it. Better luck next time..?

Thanks! You Guys Looked Great For Your First Time Out. I Loved The LadyBugs They Where AMAZING. GoodLuck Whth The Rest Of Your Season.
I think we are lucky to call Cheerforce Small Senior, Power Large Senior and CaliLarge Coed "california teams". I think all three of these teams will make a splash at NCA and Worlds. They are not just california amazing anymore. They ahve really stepped it up and are getting National credit. I am proud to say that I am lucky enough to see Power compete all of the time. They were amazing on Sunday. Saturday they were off. You could tell when they set for their stunts that they were tight. Sunday they gave me chills. They wanted it bad and their stunting ins just unmatched in my eyes. Cheerforce killed this comp by being clean every performance. They did not make mistakes when everyone else was. I am impressed with all of the changes they made since October. California Coed was amazing too. Their boys are just unreal.
Good Luck to all three teams. Hopefully you will make just as big of a splash at NCA.

How about Fierce? They made it to World's last year. I heard they had a rough start in Vegas but does anyone who saw their routine feel they should be counted out? I mean, it is still early. Can anyone give input?
Fierce gave 110 percent out on the floor and I think they won some of there divisions.Iam sure we will see you at worlds.I had alot of nice conversations with the parents from Fierce and you guys were always friendly and quick to wish us luck or congratulations good luck in the rest of the year.
