How was the Sr Lvl 2 division.  How did the teams perform?  Any standouts?

Cheer Xplosion won Sr Level 2, they looked great.  Loved their Sr Level 4 too.  I enjoyed Fusion's teams, there sure are a lot of them.  I agree about the fans from the new gym Aerials (from Vacaville I think)?   They were loud and so supportive.  I thought Power's Large Senior Level 4 team looked really good, I agree they don't get mentioned enough.

I sat in the stands (just as a spectator) surrounded by a ton of All Star Elite parents and I have to say they were a very friendly bunch of fans and very spirited too!!!  It was great!  I also heard them make very positive remarks about other programs!   Your teams looked really good and I especially enjoyed your youth team.

I'm sorry that some of you had some issues with coaches.   Coaches have their moments...give us a break, we are stressed sometimes!

I love Athletic Perfections senior lvl 2 team.  Thier routine is great.   Especially love the dance section.  I think they are the most impressive in the level 2 division.  Hands down the best.

I really like the All american coed team...but I was also really impressed with the Junior 5 team.....way to work it out ladies!!!!  I think in the next couple of years Pyramids will grow to have an unstoppable Junior/Senoir 5 team...when I watched Junior 5 I was thinking to myself 'they remind me of mavericks junior 5 that was untouchable a couple of years ago'.  Cant wait to see them all grow up together.  So Impressed.

That is a huge compliment! I will make sure my daughter sees this post! The cool thing is that most of them have been together for 4 or more years (this is my daughters 8th season with Pyramids, she just turned 12). It has been amazing watching them grow from a novice team to where they are now. The age range is from 10-14 with a majority of them being only 12. Thanks again!

Unfavorites:
1. people (mostly cheerleaders, but not limited to) that got up and down, walking around and in front of others during routines.

2. No "spectator section" in the front.  Is it really so hard to ask that the first 3 rows are for viewing the current competitors?  I mean really, did the whole team from one gym have to sit in the front 6 rows the entire afternoon? Do I sound bitter? Sorry, ignore this one...

If you have been at any other comps we have attended, you would know that in our program are teams always sit together for the whole comp. If you could have pointed out an area that had appoximateley 65 open seats then they would have been in a different area!! It is to bad the only thing said about the "red" team was were they sat. Our youth level 1 has just won 1st place in 3 straight comps, competing against no less than 6 teams each time. If not for a penalty at jamfest they would have won 1st there as well. Hopefully at San Jose they will let parents and teamates cheer on the the kids in their program.

All Star Elite seems to always put out a good routine, and I'm sorry I didn't mention it.
I tried not to mention the actual name of the team when I posted my complaint.  It's just that there were several empty rows behind your group that could have been taken up - leaving the first few rows free.  That only would have worked if GSSA announced to keep those free, so I don't really fault your team which is why I didn't name them.  It just stood out more because they were in uniform.  Sorry to have offended you.

i believe POWER's small junior 2 took first place in their division

They did ...sorry for the error in my reporting.  I was trying to write everything so fast and then make sense of it all after I got home.

L2- Small Junior Cheer should be:

POWER- 1 (67)

CYC- 3 (61)

Extreme Cheer- 2 (65)

Gymstars Elite- 4 (?)

Good job Extreme Cheer.  I believe this is the second time you've competed with POWER and it's been so close.  Keep up the good work.

Pyramids senior 4 always a great team to watch, but they seemed sluggish today for some reason. NOt the usual peppy performances they give, but the senior coed 3, WOW loved them they did hreat fun to watch and action packed. I really enjoyed this squad it was one of my absolute favorites...

Motions today i have to agree seemed a little sluggish but hey they are always entertaining to watch. felt bad for them when the pyramid fell, but we all have our days.  Still fabulous.

Royals were quite sloppy today, maybe a lot of changes but wasn't feeling them.  Not to take away from them, they have had better performances.  Every gym has those dayswink

I think that Motions and Pyramids fell victim to the early performance times.  The older teams seem to be just waking up after 11:00 am.  Then they had a long drive on top of this.  I am going to chaulk it up to a long commute and a early performance time.  They will be back and ready to go at the next competition.  You all need to WATCH out!

I agree with your assessment about the Royals.  What was up with the Royals at this competition?  There was so much hipe about their teams.  We all heard how great their Senior and Junior 4 teams were.   We have even hear that they were going to move their Junior 4 team up to level 5 and try to go for a world bid and then they go and drop to level 3.  They did get a win, but I wouldn't want a win like that one.  Hopefully, the Royals will bounce back, but they just didn't have it at this competition.   Good luck at the next competition.  Bring your dance teams, Starstruck needs a challenge.aww

I have to disagree I thought Royals was very good.  They are pretty consistent.  The Senior teams was not as powerfull as they usually are.  Royals great job we love to watch you always.  We missed your dance teams.  You are  my favorite gym to watch in your area.

I haven't seen any comments about Power's Senior 4 team. They don't get mentioned because of their Senior 4 team, but they were the second most impressive team to me behind their 5 team. They are a TRUE and solid 4 team that nailed their routine. Great Job!!

Totally agree! Very fun team to watch. I think that most level four teams don't get the "props" they deserve behind 5 teams. This is especially true when the level 5 team is as awesome as Powers! Awesome job Sr 4! biggrin I believe the scores were 87 for Sr5 and 85 for Sr4.

Yep totally agreed. They do get overlooked usually but seems that maybe people are taking notice now.
Congrats to Power Sr 4 team on their win! They were so fun to watch. Excellent routine girls! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

That happened to everyone all day, the first time was 9:15 am for us. but thanks for pointing us out. It is great to get attention, negative or positive(rarely). So it is safe to say you did not see enough seats for our kids to sit together anywhere in the stands!

You could just say, "I am sorry, I will work with our staff on that!".......MANNERS.......It is called MANNERS!

Not from cheergyms, disagree with your opinion (the beauty of living in the USA). Thought their dance was fun to watch and that they are very entertaining. Great tumbling and stunts.
