the celebrity uniforms are cute. ive also noticed that purple is a popular color. maybe im just noticing the uniforms a lot more this year.purple is a good cheer color though! biggrin

I can safely say that the look that appeals to me most is going, going...possibly gone.

But these are cute. My favs from this group is CTA and FCA. KE's I like the least, although I don't really know why. The one thing don't like about the first Celebrity's is the way the name is situated on the top, it really shows the differences in body types. I don't know what it is about CTA's I like, but I do. I like how FCA, who does the gems theme, has different colored uniforms for the different colored gems.

i agree with you. i am not trying to be rude but i think that body types makes a difference. it can make it look more clean and sharp depending on how the uniform suits the body. no one has the perfect body!

I like FCA's uniform, especially the TEAL one and really love Celebrity's 2nd uniform.

I like CTA because it has style and looks very athletic and clean. But then I like SPARKLY ones too. Of course, after ruining daughter's uni by dry cleaning the "sparkles" off by accident, I'd so rather wash CTA's!

Good point on the Celebrity top. I like the uni, but the top does look rather different on different girls. THere must be so much thought that needs to go into choosing a uniform and even so it is still like rolling the dice.

I love that TCA uses different colors. Went to comp recently were there were TONS of blue and red unis and had to check the SCHEDULE rather than being able to count on looking at them to see who was performing. They all had nice uniforms, but they blended all together. TCA stands out.

i <333 the diamonds on FCA's uniform and how sparkily it is. i really like all of the other teams... i like kentucky elite for the LITTLER GIRLS. that slit in the older girl's uniform with the wrap around neck looks kindof weird to me, but idk. CTA is cute. i really like how busy celebrity's uniform is.

We looked seriously at that 2nd KE uniform...looking at it on now I'm glad we didn't go with it. It's cute but the lettering looks weird, like it's in the wrong spot?

I like the first Celebrity one...I'm lukewarm on the 2nd. The FCA ones are probably my favorite of this bunch. I do love the CTA one but of course know where it came from.

I looked at these and thought "oh yeah, CTA is my favorite."
I like the longer crop, the skirt, the whole overall look. Very sporty, and it looks like there may even be sparkles on the red...

You beat me to the comment! If I see one more star on a uniform I'm going to throw up! Wow, how original. "All Star" cheerleading team with a star on their uniforms. I couldn't get past all the stars, so my comments on the uniforms are they all starting to look alike.

I know that gyms think they are going to be unique, and then the season starts and shazam! Similar looks across the country.

I'm not familiar with the process of uniform designs, but I guess not everyone can design their uniform from scratch, but have to select from a few styles that are offered by the uniform company and then throw in a few changes to make it their own design.

I like Celebrity's new uniform. I don't see the big deal with the star being on a All Star uniform. So far this year I have not seen any new ones that made me go wow. I thought I liked Airbornes until I saw it in person and just didn't care for it. It all comes down to personal taste. The trend that is starting to get old is all the cutouts.

The video of Garland High School posted in You Tubes and Other Videos shows how a uniform can add to a performance. I'm not saying go back to the 80's or 90's style, but the flyers skirts looked so cool and added to the overall effect of the stunts. I like a uniform that enhances the look of a team. Guess I'm a fan of the Athletic look. Cheer is not dance and I see a lot of uniforms heading in that direction. I agree I'm over all the cutouts, and a lot of the uniforms seem to getting more flimsy looking.

I agree! They may be "old fashioned", but the sure added some fun to the stunts smile

That's one of the things my mom was lamenting during my daughter's latest competition. She's not impressed with the short, tight-fitting skirts that are popular now, and I agree. The skirts should have at least some movement, and a little flare to them would really show nicely during the stunts!
