Hey NCE Let me just say don't bother responding to negativity on the boards or even explaining why your team mates or squad members do certain things.
What I noticed is a popular trend on the boards. When someone or a group is either jealous or worried with concern of losing and maybe even just trying to get in your head they come on here and make up stuff or even try to bring out anything negative in "their small minded" minds! It doesnt matter what you do in your gym.....
lets see pyramids, power cheer odyseey ucf, cheerpower and legends have all been under attack on here and they are all teams that are doing well
I agree, just ignore the negativity NCE, you're doing great. But I disagree that some gyms have been mentioned because others are jealous; sometimes there are valid reasons. It's not always a bad thing for gyms to see how they or their actions are perceived by others.

In a perfect world everyone would be nice and respect one another. Well I found out a long time ago thats not gonna happen. I have no problem with someone speaking thier mind. Everyone has thier own opinion and your free to express it. But why be rude and hurtful. There is a way to state how you feel without being mean. I guess when people can post anonymously they feel they can say anything. If you feel morally right about your opinions then be brave enough not to hide behind an unknow identity. Others just might take what you say more seriously.
There is never a need to be rude or harmful, totally agree with that. Constructive criticism can be helpful; rude insulting comments with hidden agendas have no place here, even though unfortunately we see them. Posting anonymously gives people the freedom to state their opinions without having to worry about their gyms suffering any consequences. This can be a good thing if it is not abused.

Gee, I'd like to take what you're saying seriously but...

wasnt saying that it is always because of jealousy. I mentioned other reasons and agian sometmes its just to start negative things or eeven to make their points. SO YES things posted on here about gyms may be true or their actions may show what you may think in your opionion.... but the main point is that these boards are used a lot of the times for the reasons that were originality stated. Just a general comment and not the gospel. Unfortunatley, NCE is being ataccked about their kids competing on so many different teams, but hnestly who cares and what does it have to do with who is competing at Athletic Championship. Th eoarents who want to pay for their kids to compete on different squads and the kids that do it, that is their choice. Why does that matter. So IN MY OPINION and ONLY MY OPIONION the other comments are being made out of malice and no other reasons.
SO AGAIN NCE you guys are fantastic and so are all the other gyms in Northern california. I think that each gym brings something unique and different and this season so far has been truly a fun competitive season. There are many gyms you haven't heard much about making names for themselves. There are gyms we are use to hearing about being mentioned as top contenders in the world of comeptitive cheer and there are quite a few gyms who you never ever really noticed that are being noticed this season.
Competitive cheer has come so far keep uo the great work cheer gym owners... nothing and noone is perfect, but we all shhot to be better each year and that is all you can do.
and as my mama use to tell me "every year at the end of the year you look back and you see all the things you want to change and you see all the things you wouldn't change. Isnt it great that we learn from our mistakes and we learn from all the things we did right."
and boy cant we all relate that to cheer as well. at the end of the seaosn each of those gym owners will sit back and reflect on every thing that was wrong that season they would do differently and will reflect on all the great things they did and do what they have to do to be a bigger and better succesful program next season.
I used to be one of those that was really "bothered", "upset", "mad" about gyms that had a majority of their kids doing crossovers. Why did I care? I thought it was because it "wasn't good for the kids". Then I kept hearing that the kids want to do it and I still found myself upset at these gyms. Now I realize that I was upset because I thought the gyms were trying to draw more customers by making it look as if their gyms were really large, with lots of kids. But the fact is, the crossovers are obvious and they aren't trying to hide it. Now I find myself saying "who cares"? I don't. It is up to each gym to decide how they want to field teams. Each division has its own unique quality to coach, so the coaches may also want an opportunity to coach different teams in different divisions.
So, for any of those gyms with crossovers, ignore any negativity, keep your heads high, and cheer to your hearts content. And represent California cheerleading to the best of your ability, whether it be on 1, 2, 3, or 4 teams.

I heard a rumor that Roseville Cheer starz was going senior open this comp. Does anyone know why? Havent they compeated small senior all year?
Maybe they added someone to their squad who was under 10?
Don't blast me for asking, but if you have one or two teams in a non open division and only one in an open division, would it be okay for the one team or two in the non open to move into the open just to make it more competitive? Anyone can compete in an open division, right? But the opposite isn't true, those in open can't move the other direction. Just a general question, not specific to any particular gyms. Someone asked in a post a while back and I never saw an answer..
