It was not a dig. It was a simple question. As a parent interested in allstar cheer I want to be able to make an educated guess when I pay for a year of cheer. I want to know if it is required for my child to do two level 5 teams if she goes to nce. No need to jump on my back. You hear rumors and sometimes they need to be addressed. If that is the case and it works for them fine. I am just not sure it would work for my family and I would like to know before we attend tryouts and my child gets her hopes up.
If you are truly interested, call them. You can go to their website and get the number. Call and ask a question. It is easy to come and ask questions that have a negative flavor to them and write it off as you were trying to find out something. Be an educated parent and go to the direct source.
Even if they do require you to cheer on two teams if you want to compete at level 5, and I honestly don't know if they do or not, doesn't cheergyms do the same with their AA teams and the requirement that you also cheer on a level 4 team? I'm sure other gyms have similar requirements. If you are truly interested call the gym as someone suggested.
Well with the new rule of no one under the age of 10 on a senior team some of the younger kids from NCE would need a junior 5 team to compete. I am not sure why they have to senior 5 teams when the coed one is not full , meaning its not at 36 so why not just have one senior 5 team and take your best kids instead of making the girls double up to make it seem like you are bigger then you really are. Am I wrong or do all the Small Senior 5 girls also double on coed? If not all, how many?
All of the Jr 5 kids that have fulls are on Sr's too

I so didn't get that the person was trying to be negative and pull it off. sometimes in many cases we all come to the boards for information even if its not the right source and I think we all read too much into questions or statements made on here. We use these boards for many things and you do find out helpful information. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who come on here to expose negative things about gyms or to even start drama but it comes with this type of venue.
I have used these boards for information and it has helped me make some decisions and it has taught me a few things.
Looking at the question from another stand point. Maybe this person thought asking the question on here may eliviate embarssment by posing that question to the NCE people and didn't want to come off in a bad way to them. Just another way to look at the question. And by the statements made on here, he/she now knows that its ok to ask NCE that if you approach it right.
Hey I was bored. I don't know all the levels that Premier is bringing. But so far this is how the competition looks like so far. I'm sure other teams will be going just don't know them yet.

Well, I'm on NCE and all of the kids on the jrs double team (all of them are on coed 5, except two of the girls are on coed 3 instead of coed 5). And the post above is not true, because not all the jrs on all girl 5/coed 5 have fulls... As for sr all girl to coed 5, everyone on all girl 5 is on coed 5, except one girl and the guys. So, if you're interested in joining, just call the gym and I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem putting your kid on one team. In other words, you choose to be on multiple teams, you don't have to. But, it's fun to be on 2 teams!

*I meant to say that everyone on coed 5 is on all girl 5, except one girl and the guys. That's what happens when you don't proof-read!
So why not have just one level 5 team at the senior division instead of two. As an athlete I have seen the girls from NCE, Cheergyms to all american and the Airborne girls run back to the warm up room after their other team competes. I would be exhausted if I had to do double the work. Don't you guys get worn out? Also I am not bashing. Just asking. Not everyone is against you NCE, you are very respected and have great teams.
