Point System

I've always wondered this.  If your team is a level 5, is it better to throw a perfect layout than a sloppy full?  Do judges count the number of fulls regardless of how they look or would they give higher points to a perfect layout?

I'd be curious to hear the answer to this too.  It can apply to lower levels as well (better to attempt the higher skills even if they are sloppy, or would you get more points for clean lower skills)?

It depends on the competition, comps use different scoring systems. I remember one comp that my daughter's team went to where the team received more points when the entire team participated simultaneously, didn't matter what it looked like just as long as they all did/attempted it. For example in stunting, if you had some stunt while others where tumbling or dancing, you would not get the full points (bonus points?).

Good question! I can't stand to see those horribly piked layouts or those tucks with the head thrown back. In my book it's all about great technique.
