Apparently I am the only one excited about this comp Maybe because this is mostly a NorCal board but oh well. I wonder how the GSSA & Jamfest merger will work out here. Looks like they adopted the Jamfest Fun & Games and free admission! Although I don't know if they had that last year. A few big names at this one ... California Allstars, OC, some of Spirit Athletics, California Flyers. While I'm on the topic of SoCal teams, there was a JAMZ regional yesterday I think. Seemed to be a small turnout for all-star teams. Did anyone see the new gym PAC?
I think you're right, being so far away does take away a little of the excitement. However, I can't wait to read the results when you post them after the comp. ;)
Make sure to include your thoughts on the merger. I just went to my first Jamfest comp, it was pretty good loved the free entrance. GSSA wasn't free before. I've also heard that GSSA has adopted more of a Jamfest scoring, but I don't know if that's true or maybe they always had similar scoring?
The only thing I've heard about the JAMZ comp, was the link to the video of PAC in the video section. They looked pretty good especially for being so early in the season (I feel like a broken record ;) ).
Anonymous 8:01...don't let the lack of posting on this subject fool you. I know I'm excited for this competition because of CA Bullets and OC. I'm looking forward to the commentaries on performances. We don't get to see these teams until...way late in the season...and we never get videos. So please make sure you come back and give us an update. You know the norcal teams want to know...about those socal teams.
