I cannot wait to start hearing about all of the Californian teams getting bids for Wolds 2008 (hopefully paid for too!lol) in the not-too-distant future. Represent!!!

what about individual teams though??

because there are programs going for multiple bids like POWER large and POWER small, Nor Cal's small senior and large coed (depending on crossover). what are the top individual teams going for bids?

All American sm coed?
So Cal outlaws sm coed?
CA small senior?

I cant imagine any other state in the country (possibly texas) that has as many teams as these with ALL the elements of good choreography, awesome tumbling, creative/innovative stunts and pyramids, and OFF the hook dances. Think about it! Cali is going to WOOP some butt this year!

wow you got some high hopes at that. because i guarantee world cup shooting stars are going to be doing some off the hook things and will probably challenge coed teams with some of their tumbling, and teams like spirit of texas, gymtyme are both sm coed teams that not only have the talent but also are so ridiculously clean

Um...if you saw World Cups routine, you would know why the poster said what they said. I agree, there are going to be some big surprises at WORLDS from the California teams. I always enjoy watching y'all!

NCE went to worlds last year and they place top 20 so i think they have a chance probably not their coed team but their all girl team looks good

NCE got 18th at worlds last year. they baely made top 20 and i dont know if there were more than 20 teams that made it to finals. but in some sense congrats on making it to finals. and even if their all girl team does get a Bid it'd be hard for them to take them over large coed if in fact they do cross over as many people as they have in the past because typically a coed team can win grand champs alot easier than a small all girl team. and if they took small senior over coed alot of people who worked their tails off all year would get left out. it would be amazing if they could get both teams there though. definately steppin it up thatd be fun to watch.

good luck to POWER, the all girl teams are stepping it up. if they can get both teams to worlds again thatd be fun of course. good luck to those two programs.

NCE was in first coming out of prelims right? I think they did well last year especially making it to worlds their 2nd year being a gym? or 3rd? well congrats to them and hopefully they have another team or two going to worlds this year.

Power will do amazing at worlds, either one or both teams they take. I heard large was their predominate team this year, but small is amazing to.
The only thing is cross overs. It will be good to see these two gyms this year but will be hard to get these gyms to have 2 teams make it into finals at worlds now that every team has to compete in prelims and both have major crossovers, but we'll see what John and Roy have in stock for us =)

Is American Grand in vegas going to be the first time a lot of the big teams will get to see each other not just from northern California?

NorCal was South Bay because South Bay had some liscensing issues and they could no longer use their name....

I would love to see a CA team be world champs, especially power. but year after year they always got something new coming at us in the east. but best of luck to all teams, cant wait for the results, even though its like months away haha

South Bay Elite was changing there name before the permit issues were brought up. That was not the only reason for them closing.
