I think C0 is a level 4 team skill wise. NCE will need to hit the routine and keep it clean. Skill wise they are both weak for level 5 ,so it is like Senior Coed 4.25 not 5
I don't really agree with that this season. I think this year CO is much stronger than they were last year, and that NCE is much weaker. CO's routine is also better choreographed and has stronger use of level 5 skills. Last year I would have given it to NCE as long as they hit...this year I don't think it's as much of a slam-dunk.
Who are we kidding?! CO is just a stronger level 4 team then their level 4 team last year. By no means am I a fan of either this year, but NCE always knows when to be clean and safe with skills. They werent competing against anyone at JamFest, so they threw the skills they were working on. Why is anyone even second guessing who will take that division? CO had what, maybe 7 (recycled) fulls, and their best tumbler didnt even throw doubles, they threw a pass that ended in a tuck to punch out (not step out) and go through to a full. They have a few level 5 cheerleaders, yes, good ones at that, but you need more than that. NCE has the advantage of more level 5 skills and decent choreography. Best of luck to both, I cant wait to hear how it turns out. I dont expect any surprises!
I am really excited for this competition. Our guys and girls are pushing themselves and gaining difficulty and skills. What is going to decide who wins or loses is going to be routine execution, showmanship and how clean the teams look. We are excited to be competing against NCE and however it goes I know it will be a great competition. Remember all teams build throughout the year and improve. We can't all be Cheer Athletics and World Cup but we can sure try. I love that our coaches push our girls to attain new skills. Good Luck to NCE and all the teams competing this weekend.

I don't agree AT ALL. I've seen both routines this season and CO has got it all over NCE. I don't think either team is like "powerhouse level 5" caliber by any means, but if CO didn't win I'd be very surprised. Can't wait to see them both this weekend.

Some competition companies reward clean and simple over sloppy but more difficulty. I'm not sure which one this competition favors. I know at one time American Championships used to give points for difficulty (more than other comps) but I think I read that changed last year. In my opinion, CO is the first mentioned (clean, simple), and NCE is more the 2nd, but that does NOT mean this is how the routines will go this weekend. I think it will be close between the two, and I'm leaning towards NCE taking it. I'm very glad they are going against each other because it will be really exciting to watch.
i think co will beat nce. co looks really good this year!! what do you guys think?
Hard to say, I am a fan of CO and their routine is great. But against other competition, bigger squads, they are lacking in tumbling. I wish both teams the best. This should be a good competition.
Did I miss something? I thought NCE coed team was unlimited coed but now I see they are listed as limited coed. I guess I just assumed they were unlimited based on previous years.
At Jamfest we went unlimited because we had a girl get her appendix out the tuesday before competition.. when we were re-working, we added one boy to make things easier.. didnt make a difference cuz we werent competing against anyone...
But for Worlds these are the only divisions not including International
Senior Divisions Level 5: Small Senior All Girl 10-18 years, no males, 5 to 20 members Large Senior All Girl 10-18 years, no males, 21 to 36 members Large Senior Limited Coed 10-18 years, 1 to 4 males, 5 to 36 members Senior Unlimited Coed 10-18 years, 5 or more males, 5 to 36 members

Personally, I think limited and unlimited is dumb for regionals because then you have a bunch of squads in different divisions competing against themselves..ya so a team may have 2 guys and another may have 12..but isn't it better having competition when we pay all this money?...for worlds or nationals they could split it, but come on...when there are only 3-4 teams?
