You are right. It is early in the season and this was cf and power's first comp and you are right tumbling isn't everything. However, cf should have received a better score than they did. Not knocking power in any way, shape, or form - they are a great team. I am not biased by saying the comp was in north cal. It's just funny how things happen sometimes. I'm sure everyone is proud of their athlete as am I. This just means that all of the teams need to work harder. I must say that power's level 4 is definitely amazing. Great performance all around. Pyramids level 4 was amazing as well. Keep up the good work. Good luck to all teams for the rest of the season. Hope to see some of you again.
Power: wasn't impressed- dull music(poorly recycled), horrid pyramid(though I'm sure it usually hits?), dance-it's always gonna be boring, I never expect much--eric little's not that talented(if he's still "around"). Whatever-- still love Power--- n their open team was pretty impressive, still had issues though.
Norcal: Okay, loved their 6 open team, but you know what team had me thinking fake level 5?
Cheer Force: They were good, but ya know, something's always off about their choreo and their music's always EGH--- ex: "smack that" by akon during their toss section?? Whaaaaaaaaat? seriously?
Motions Coed 4: Okay, honestly, I've never seen a stronger coed 4... but I didn't get any wow factor other than the tumbling section-- which was amazing.
Pyramids: Probably has the cleanest performers?
Premier: They're good-- I just didn't like seeing roll off after roll off over n over over again.
Royals: alright.
Swat 5: Honestly? Like really?? I don't know-- when you see a full squad throw ro bhs as a corner pass on a level 5 team-- does that look good?? Oh ....
Everyone is taking this comp to seriously. Gyms early comps to get their gym back into a competing mood. It is early in the year and it showed as so many mistakes were made. CheerForce didn't even wear uniforms. I think everyone did their best and should be congratulated instead of dogged on. All teams did great and I'm looking forward to seeing all the level 5 teams compete again once they have a little more practice under their belt. I really want to see CheerForce's small international coed team hit their routine. They had amazing tumbling (when they landed it) and some sick combo passes. Their stunts were weak imo but that pyramid looks like it will be awsome when they hit it. I think they had the most skills at the comp, but skill isn't golden in comps technique and execution is and I think we saw that at this comp. Everyone had errors and the team who made the least amount won. Great job everyone good luck in your future training I can't wait to see all of you guys compete again.
OK no!! If you watched the level 5 small senior you would have seen that power had 0 standing fulls and cheerforce had 8 solid. Power had recycled fulls and doubles... Cheerforce had 12 doubles...none recycled plus pretty much all squad fulls. Power had a pyramid? Did I miss something? Oh yeah IT DID NOT GO UP!! Cheerforce did have problems with there's but it went up. I think that power knows they shouldn't of won that division but considering the comp was in Northern Cali, what do you expect...no brainer there. As for the grand champs..Power won?? Look at the final scores for ALL teams competing there and you will see that cheerforce's jr. co-ed had the highest score of the entire day and still did not receive proper recognition. Again northern cal. I guess we all know how cheer can be sometimes. You win some and you lose some. As long as you know you did your best.. that's all that matters. Great job to all who competed.
keep it clean guys! omg,, bashers! lol if ur gonna bash, dont do it anonymously. lol calm downnn. POWER won and its over. bash them all u want, they still won. theres nothing you can do, b/c ur not a judge and the comp is overrr!!!
and im not trying 2 be rude, but im sick of the mean stuffff. maybe i should change my profile name to anti-basher!!! lol

For me, I didnt get the hype from last week. Stunts fell, tumbling fell, transitions looked crazed with people running everywhere. I was looking forward to it but after all the buildup I was disappointed.

Yep I agree. Power 4 was surprisingly spectacular and Pyramids 4 were awesome as well yesterday!!! Both very clean and entertaining, it was a toss up for sure!

I still do not think power should have won sr small all girl lvl 5 division not with their pyramid not going up and the half that managed to go up for a split second fell. Everyone had mistakes, but a pyramid not going up is huge and should not be awarded first place........
Match up of the day for me was POWER Sr 4 and Pyramids Sr 4...thought theses were hands down the best of the day. Way to work those routines! Very clean...no major flaws in either....VERY entertaining!

Can someone define when a pyramid goes up or not? I viewed the YouTube of CF (for the short few minutes it was up) and it appeared to me their pyramid didn't "go up" either. Didn't the whole center section fall and therefore their really wasn't even a pyramid completed? (I hope I'm remembering the right routine as I only got to see it once) So wouldn't that also have deductions? Of course, I didn't see Power's performance and can't really compare why one may get more deductions than the other. I really do just want to get an explanation from those that saw the routines and if one would have constituted more deductions than the other.

Good try. But both Power and CF never want their videos open to the general public. Too many spies may steal their moves.

I would suspect that since the CF youtube went up and went down that they might not want it up. I think it is pretty safe to say that at least level 5 teams would not want their youtubes up at the start of the year. Has anyone seen a Gymtyme form 3 weeks ago. No, because they know better and keep the videos off youtube. You do now want your competitors to know what you have.
How did the rest of the Sr Level 4 division look? Haven't heard anything about the others, there was a lot of competition in that division ... was there a huge difference between the other teams and Power's Senior 4 and Pyramids Senior 4/5 team? We had to leave early and missed all their performances unfortunately. I'm hoping JamFest posts scores soon.
Pyramids senior 5 team (that competes senior 4) will be one of the best this year! Great routine, Great execution. Can't knock them at all. I think they should have taken first over POWER.
POWERS senior 5 teams need work, but when their routines are cleaned (which we all know will happen) they will be amazing. I was shocked at the final placements of the small senior divison.
I took video of the entire small senior 5 divison however I wouldn't fill comfortable posting anyone except my own gym. Fun competition overall can't wait to see all of these teams again at GSSA. I know the routines will be HOT!!!!!

If Pyramids 4 team is really a 5 team, why are they competing 4? Does their gym not have a five team? Or are a lot of girls doubling up...sorry if this has already been addressed
