NO...mike did coach at NorCal. He is now a COACH at Divas and Legends. Legends was an existing team he was just hired to coach and choreograph. Congratulations to both Legends and Divas for a great start to the season. By the way, I LOVED diva's uniforms!!

Divas looked good, but Legends were GREAT. Not really the same style at all. Legends were super clean. My question is this..... Why would Mike coach two programs that run out of the SAME gym and not just combine that talent into one organization. Divas works out of Legends gym. Why would legends gym start their own program in the gym that Divas works out of? Maybe LEgends is trying to tell Divas something

Divas have been around forever....what ever gym they work out of, Mike or no Mike, they always do well!

I believe they are the longest running program in the bay area. Longer than Motions?

I also belive Susan and Julie own legends not Mike. He is a coach for both teams. Good for him, he stepped into what he wanted to do and both teams were great!

mike isn't on the staff portion of either website. I think he just helps out each team. I also noticed another coach Calvin from NCE is at legends.

Wow, this thread has so many misconceptions in it, and unfortunately it has gotten somewhat mean-sprited.

Legends has their own gym. The gym itself is owned by two women. These women also "own" the Legends team, for lack of a better term. Mike coaches for them.

We rent floor time from Legends' gym. It is a mutally beneficial relationship in an area where rent for the square footage that a gym requires is insanely high, and nearly impossible for a gym with one or two teams to contend with. Mike also coaches for Cheer Divas. Believe me when I say that there was a lot of discussion to make sure things would be done correctly, and it's an arrangement that's beneficial to both teams. Mike and Calvin are both listed as coaches on our website, so I'm not sure what the above poster was looking at.
