Over used songs?

Im thinking High School Musical songs will be in a lot of the younger age team's music. Hopefully im wrong though.

I don't know about songs but too many overused sound effects.

You are so right!! Is there any other sound effect than something that sounds like a whip or a shotgun being loaded. It's always in the same places in every routine, the jump section or the stunt groups. I also can not stand to here the same voice overs, man or women they all sound the same. Please teams be original this year, In my opinion you

wouldn't have to use sound effects if the routinues were paired with the right music. Something with a beat perhaps.

I wish I knew the name of it, but it is a Gwen Stefani song and I KNOW I will hear a lot more of it...

I want someone to put Hammer Time in thier music. Love that song. IT'S HAMMER TIME! Hey love the beat you would have the audience dancing in thier seats.

I think that Cheer Athletics from Dallas, TX used a MC Hammer song a few seasons ago as a dance section for a small coed team. I don't remember if it was the international division or the high school level... but I definitely remember it. I saw it in Dallas at UCA.
