There was nothing negative in the above posts just someones opinion. This board is so sensitive. Lighten up people. Not everyone has a ulterior motive. Good luck to all the teams I'm sure you'll all do great.
i think it is interesting, i think this was going off of last years team which anyone would do since we have not seen anyone yet. As we know anyone can change dramatically. I don't understand why Granite bay is going against Pee wee teams when they are Jr.Midgets.
The thing is it's just an opinion. Nothing negative was said. We all have our favorites and if your not mean about it, whats wrong with it. Everyone on here posts comments about thier favorites. They all may not be mine, but I enjoy reading what everyone has to say.
Let's take a guess at who will win each category....sound fun?
This is who I think will win. But who knows. I've always enjoyed watching University Cheer Force, and Cheer Divas are good also. Good luck everyone.
Junior Level 3 (14 years and under) Granite Bay Jr Grizzlies (Jr Midgets) Folsom Jr Bulldogs (Pee Wee) Cheer Xplosion Oakridge Jr Trojans (Pee Wee) *Motions University Cheer Force
Senior Level 2 (18 years and under) Cheer Xplosion -> This ones kind of easy LOL
Senior Level 4 (18 years and under) Folsom Jr Bulldogs (Midgets) Oakridge Jr Trojans (Midgets) Cheer Xplosion *Pyramids University Cheer Force
Senior COED Level 4 (18 years and under) *Motions Cheer Divas
Saw alot of these YOUTH/ FOOTBALL teams this past weekend. I have to tell you that the Jr. Trojans are better than the Jr. Bulldogs.
I think that's the point. You are picking favs, not who you think will win cuz you don't know what their routine looks like yet. Give it a couple more competitions then we will all have something to base it on.
I dont think cheer watchers has seen ucf we havent even seen the whole routines yet but i think everyone will be surprised what ucf brings from what ive heard and seen of it so far excited for parent day....................
This is interesting. This is the first competition of the season for many of these teams. The jr. football-cheer teams had a chance to perform at a JAMZ competition this past weekend.
Who could even predict what is going to happen at this POWER competition? Anything could happen, pryamids could fall, tumbliing could touch out, elite stunts could miss. It's all about getting the first competition out of the way to get those nervous jitters out of the way.
I would not even venture to guess what order these teams would place. I would only guess like I do when I go to the horse races. Who has dropped down in class, who is staying in class, and who is moving up in class? If I used this rule of thumb, then I would bet on those that moved down in class.
Good luck to everyone! This competition is going to be amazing no matter how the results turn out.
I can't speak for other gyms but I know our gym's teams always start off slow and shakey and come on stronger as the weeks go by. So if people decide how we'll do at our first competition just based on how we ended our season last year they'll be way off, lol.
I was just taking a stab at teams based on what I have seen. No, I haven't seen UCF, Cheer Xplosion or Divas. But I was just simply making a guess. Like I said in the the other thread this is just for FUN, I hope nobody takes my GUESSES negatively. I'm no mind reader people! Good Luck everyone!

Posted this when you guys were listing the order for the Jamz competition and was accused of double standards because it wasn't listed here.
Predicting first, it's fun to guess. Predicting who will come in last? Sorry, that's just cruel no matter how you try to justify it.
Even in other sports I don't believe people predict who will come in dead last. How is that fun?
I am so tired of you oversensitve parents!!! This competition people, yes you do predict who wins and loses in every sport!!! It is just diffrent for cheer because it's not just two teams in any one division. I think parents are only offended when thier team is the one predicted to be last. Come on what the hell happen to the Underdog. Use this as a tool and stop crying about it.
When I watch my daughter compete I feel the same excitement and secretly I am watching the other teams to make sure my babies team kicked A**. I think you parents are the reason ALL STAR CHEER will never be seen as a sport. (sorry to be so tough on you all but this is a subject that I always take to heart)
It's not being overly sensitive, it's just common courtesy. Guess for some of you that doesn't exist. Those who make predictions about other sports usually have some knowledge to back it up. Example-- predicting how certain high school football teams will do. Those who predict know that certain high schools lost all their seniors and have a lot of new players, or certain high schools had awesome JV teams who will now be awesome varsity teams. But not here, here we just predict based on last year's standings, when everyone knows every season is different. And for the record my daughter's team is listed first a majority of the time but it only puts pressure on them to repeat their great year last year. Let's make educated guesses and at least wait until the season starts. Is that asking too much?? For those teams some are placing last in their fun little posts, don't get discouraged because they are basing it on nothing.
