RE: Your Favorites

Honestly after seeing Jamfest, I didn't see any gym that was "horrible" or "bad". I think people should feel happy at the gym they have chosen. I feel Nor Cal has gotten alot better and were ready to take on the Cheer World!

I do agree UNITY (CG.com, AP, and CSE 4life)!!

Thank you for all your interest in those teams that are around. I do appreciate how "indirectly" things are being tossed back and forth about "Northern California Teams" ....but as they say ...whatever doesn't kill will only make you stronger! BUT...for most of us... we're NOT forced to be on more than one team..we choose to crossover because we just love the sport so much that we want to do it as much as possible.....

Huh?  I don't get it.  This is the Cheergrms message board right, and we are in Northern Califfornia right?  Most of the teams and people who sign on to this board are from either Cheergyms, or other local teams around this area right.  Isn't it normal that we would mostly discuss our own teams.  We all love and appreciate teams in Southern California and around the country.  But we also love to talk about us too.  What is wrong with that?  I'm sure on your local message boards you toot your own horn and don't discuss our teams.  If you read thru most of the threads on this board, kudos are always given to the big name gyms in Southern California and around the country all the time.  Your post is silly.

I think you have just as many So Cal people on this board as well. But I'm thinking of people that I KNOW who log on here. I haven't found one single message board for SoCal teams. But I don't come here for that reason. I come here cause we are from San Jose and know people up there. It's a way for me to keep in touch. BUT, now I know people from lots of gyms just BECAUSE of this message board. It's been so wonderful to get to know people from other gyms cause now I have a personal interest in their teams.

I guess I'm super confused from the last Anonymous post. I didn't see anyone saying anything wrong about talking about SoCal teams. Am I missing something?

I wish there were more high school parents on here but then again, there isn't much to discuss there other than the "no spring floor" rule which I don't want to discuss anyway. I'll be pissed off all day if I do. That's one topic that gets under my skin like NO OTHER.

My favorites are the teams that go out there every competition and show how hard they have worked perfecting thier routines.  The ones that after they performed you say to yourself.. wow they did great.  Thier not always the teams that everyone says are the best and they may not always come in first, but they make sitting at a long day of competition fun and entertaining.

The question for me this season is....

What kind of shoes will Megan try to break her neck in this year?
