I heard somewhere that their coaches volunteer to coach, can anyone confirm or deny this?

Our gym just started paying coaches a couple of years ago; before that, we were coaching for the love of the sport and the kids involved.

Checking out their website here.
Reveiwing their contract in another post.
Interesting.

I'm assuming that you do know that every post marked Anonymous is not by the same person. I'm the one who mentioned that I checked out their website. Whoever reviewed their contract is a totally different person.

I've never seen Royals compete before, but I've heard good things about them and hope to see them this season. In any event, I think its awesome that they are trying to keep the costs down for their kids.

Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest..........you are going to be attend a JAMZ competition.  Your coach is head instructor/judge for JAMZ.   Seems to me there would be an unfair advantage for the other teams in attendence.  you don't need to tell us that she isn't going to be working the event that day so it doesn't matter.  Judging is subjective and no relationships - good or bad - should come into play, but it's hard to believe this might not be in the back of the JAMZ judges minds.confused

One of our coaches works for Jamz and If I'm not mistaken we cannot attend the same comps she is working.  It's against thier rules because of conflict of interest.  You need to get your facts before make a statement like that.

Bologne.. JAMZ is fair.  In fact there are JAMZ instructors working at many of the gyms.  I believe there is someone on here who is Jealous of Royals? why are you so preoccupied with them.  I agree with the other poster who says leave them alone they are happy.  stop making up things to say.  They obvious have a better ethic than you because they are not on here naming your gym.  You can tell who has the maturity and who does not.  when you talk about others it only makes you look bad.

Sorry but you are mistaken.  Jamz instructors are everywhere...

I think if you broke down anything and itemized such as all star cheerleading does, then you would realize how much it all is. Of course is t cost money to fly, eat, lodging, and buying additional expenses, but what doesn't. Just going to work everyday, you buy gas, fast food, and get things you don't always need, but want.

This list is somewhat accurate, but overly dramatic. I am sure when dads travel to wrestling tournaments far away, they don't count the cost of stoping for breakfast and getting extra socks as a serious expense. Sorry it bugs me when people complain how much something costs, but yet in still they keep doing it year after year. Its like Christian Dior glasses, yes they are pricey, but people still buy them who can't afford them.

you need to read from the beginning.  She stated earlier that it was priceless, someone else made a smart azz comment refering to the price of high school cheer so she itemized.

Wow, I've NEVER been accused of being overly dramatic more than a few times. LMAO. Its not being dramatic.... it's called COMEDY. I threw in some humor. No drama, just jokes.

Kidding people..... kidding.

I think maybe you should read my earlier post. It might shed some light on my REAL thoughts on the subject.
