Sounds like you go to this gym and your on here trying to pretend like you don't! Because we all know What looks good the outside may not be the case on the inside!

i dont cheer at this gym, however i do cheer at a gym that is two hours away. Sure i live in so cal and we run into them at competitions every so often. If yu asked me about information on their program i would have nothing to tell you. I am very happy where i am at and the gym i go to only as 4 teams. We also dont have a million girl coaches, we only have one. I actually dont even know what competitions they will be attending ut i hope to come across them because all there teams are fun to watch. I am not pretending and if you really care that much i feel sorry for you. i would come on this board and defend any program that has been nice to ours in the past. It happens to be them this time.
Awh aren't you sweet! What are you even talking about, your eager defense is the most ran-dumbist ( yes I made that up especially for you) thing I have ever heard in my life.
When I first started seeing RC at local competitions I was somewhat impressed... That lasted for about 3 years. Then about 3 or 4 years ago in Vegas at the American Grand they started looking really messy and their routines were A BLUE HOT MESS.
I noticed Fierce come on to the scene and thought Hmmm. pretty good but they REALLY REALLY need to CLEAN. I wondered where they came from because they had all this RAW talent. So I started looking for their web site and by reading their guest book I was able to figure out that the owners and coaches had come from RC CLUB CHEER.
This is probably where the crap began. Unhappy talented coaches left RC to start their own program with some of RC'S KIDS and RC OWNERS and loyal RC'ERS felt betrayed.
So who is wrong here: The dreamers who wanted to start their own program.
Or The owners who felt betrayed ?
Nobody is wrong here. It is human nature to want to protect your own.
The only thing that should have been done was for both programs to delete their guestbooks. So coaches, parents, cheerleaders, and fans could not have a place to continue this unprofessional and damaging fued.
Damaging Yes! With all the ugly fighting and feuding between these two gyms, the inland empire has no place for the cheerleaders who want to cheer without drama to do so. It's really really sad! The inland Empire is looking for a quality cheer program to come into the community and start something that could possibly become the next cheergyms of cheer.
I just went to the RC Club cheer site and its still up. If you use Jams spirit designs for sites you have to pay, so someone is still paying for that site to be up. Did they just close? RC Club Cheer is one of the original gyms and its sad to see they might close.
Sad to say this, but this answers the above person asking about loyalty. I feel you should leave gyms only if your pushed against a wall. Coaches, parents or athletes leave becasue they are unhappy, but happiness is a temporary emotion that sometimes changes through time. Sometimes I hate my gym, but overall I love it because I know were here for the right reasons. Starting your own thing is not as easy as you think, plus there is a right way to do things. You just wait, if you open up a gym, and coaches and kids leave because they feel everything is great somewhere else, then it does hurt. It is a business, but tied with personal emotions because your put so much into these kids/coaches and they leave. Almost makes you feel people are dishonest from the beginning. People are only happy if they get what they want and life isn't that way. You have to go through sacrifice and disappointment to understand what true happiness is all about.

i think their hip hop teams are still going on and practicing at different venues in upland or wherever they are. i dont know if they still have cheer teams thugh.118883
I thought they closed because of problems with their gym so they couldn't practice there? And doesn't it say he was just a guest coach there or something?
NO! They were closed before that went down......I bumped into the owner months before that situation came up...She had stated that she was closing because the building that she was in had kept raising their rent and expenses. The overhead was just too much. She has three hip hop teams that she kept at another location...
So the cheer teams are really gone? She should've kept the cheer teams!!
I can certainly understand why they would keep the hip hop teams and not the cheerleading teams.
1. Facility - You can basically practice hip hop in any type of location. You don't need special accomodations for hip hop. You don't need high ceilings, mats, spring floor, tumbling equipment or the entire 42 x 54 floor foot print.
2. Competition for dance members - maybe there is less of a battle for dance clientele in the local area.
3. Overhead costs - a cheerleading business is expensive no doubt about it. The next time you are in your gym start looking around to see all the "extras" that are needed to assist cheerleaders. The spring floor, tumbling tracks, tumbling mats, jump ropes, the list goes on and on. Now, think about if you were a business owner in debt. You would need to sell off these items to at least break even and get back to a zero balance.
I'm so sad for everyone. I have friends on both Fierce and the former RC. Everyone that I met was so wonderful.
But I guess that I know what it's like to be in a gym that had it's own share of drama. That's really tough and we all felt like we went thru a divorce. It was heartbreaking for EVERYONE.
Just keep in mind that kids don't know how to handle these things as well as adults. And we all can see how well some adults handle things. Maybe a few kind words would go a long way here. As well as a touch of forgiveness and forgetfulness.....

wow, I had no idea that was going on between the 2 gyms -- kind of like down here when OC started and there was the whole Magic vs Quakes vs OC. In the end -- as long as the kids continue to have fun I guess thats all that matters.
As an owner, why would you write this on your guestbook open page? I think she could have worded it a little more professional.
Due to the high volume of RUDE GUESTBOOK COMMENTS I have recieved within the last week, you should all know that I have a guestbook tracker and have had one for over a year now. Please keep your rude comments to yourself, because we can easily find out who you are by the location that you're writing from. Have a good season.
