I agree with Danny, let's not let this string get heated. I have enjoyed this conversation so far. I hadn't given the whole idea much thought before. I automatically put certain activites into the sports catergory because of the physical activity and competition.

I don't think that Nelson wants his opinion to be gospel. When someone writes if swimming is a sport based on what he previously wrote, he just replies.

cheerleading is a sport!!! i think we all know how much hard work, time, focus and dedication it takes and if it isn't considered a sport than what is!?!

Ok this conversation is really getting mean now. obviously shopping doesnt take a lot of dedication, love, blah blah..unless ur a freak. so lets just stop this here so no one gets their feelins hurt!
