First of all let me state that I like coming to this website and reading posts and other information, so please don't take this negatively.  I'm just wondering why there is so much old outdated information?  Gyms listed that have been closed for years, teams posted from years ago... it seems easy enough to update?  These days a website is the #1 source of information for most, especially if you're shopping around.  When I see a website with old outdated information I tend to make assumptions about that business.  I know cheergyms is organized, so it doesn't make sense to me.   Two good rules when managing websites ... keep it updated, keep it real.  Maybe someone can shed some light?

For the most part, I would agree with you Abby.  I do know that the site is currently being updated and Nelson is working hard at it.  I even noticed an updated section under the Motions page for classes...  I would think that the closed gyms are still listed because they still want to work with the schools in the area.
Maybe this topic could be treated as somewhat of a suggestion box for updating the site?
I would love to see on the public pages:
Competition schedule (and updated as necessary)
Current and archived photos
Cheerleader of the month
Class and practice schedule (already there, but hard to find - I like a one or two month calendar)
Bill Pay
Opportunity to sign up for classes or privates directly from the website

Just my thoughts...

Hello All,

  Yes, this site is definitely going to be updated!!  I'd love to list all the new things about the site but I don't want to give anything away...

  However, for those of you who know me and know how competitive I am...just know that I plan on turning the cheergyms.com website into the single most viewed cheerleading website in the World.  It will be highly functional, interactive and fun to visit.  And...we're going to have some really cool features and even a HUGE WORLDWIDE contest! 

  But...a project of this magnitude takes time and a heck of a lot of work.  There will be some minor patchwork done soon to update all the information but as to when the new site will launch I cannot say exactly.  

  When it does though...in the words of the famous Joey..."WHOA"

While we are waiting for the cheergyms.com website update I thought we could look at other great cheer web sites. What is your favorite?
