You can go to Taco Bell and they have coupons for discount tickets. . .$24.99 but you still have to purchase the $5.00 competition ticket. . .which ends up being $29.99 and you don't get in until 10 am, but it is only $2.99 more then what we purchased them for through JAMZ. . .the only REAL draw back is you don't get in until 10am when the park opens to the general public!! But it is better than the regular price!!
It seems to me we could buy discounted tickets at a special window just for cheerleaders/spectators last year. I don't remember what it cost, but it was less than the regular MW admission, and comparable to the pre-sale tickets. They take care of us parents!
Sorry, I had to submit the order by last Wednesday and I only ordered tickets for people who prepaid.
However, according to the JAMZ paperwork I read that you can buy the tickets at Marine World for the same $27 price (including the $5 wristband) at the main gate. The only hitch is that you can't get in until 10am.
Another Pyramids parent told me that in past years, JAMZ actually sold the tickets and wristbands just inside their special "side entrance" gate between 8am and 10am (when the main gate opens). I didn't read anything about that, but it's possible. I do recall that they sell the wristbands to season pass holders just inside the gate between 8-10am - but you can check to see if there are tickets for sale as well.
Also, keep an eye on our message board as someone who purchased tickets may need to resell them - you never know!
