RE: Worlds Comments

So what if someone cheats with kids and gets caught AFTER worlds?

I don't believe there are any rules on the USASF books that address this issue. It has been brought up before and most feel there should be some consequence, like being banned from Worlds for "x" number of seasons. I would like to know if regulating rules and consequences were discussed at the conference.

Then you should contact Steve Peterson with USASF.  He was the Worlds competition director.  You can contact him through www.usasf.net

Completely agree. Even if there is nothing USASF can do because it's after the fact, at least USASF will be on the look-out so it most likely won't happen again next year.

Lets make sure you understand what the term "on the floor at the competition they won the bid at" means. It does not mean they have to be in the same routine of the bid winning team. If those substitute individuals were on another team of the same gym at the came competiton they then can compete at Worlds with the bid winning team.

But if that was not the case, then yes, I think you should contact USASF if you can prove your allogations.

Thats horrible, IF it's true. There will always be bad seeds that will do anything and everything to ensure a 1st place win. I hope, IF this is TRUE, that the team didn't place well. Its not fair to other athletes that compete together all year long. I believe that things happen for a reason and I am alos a firm believer that Karma bites.

Once again, Congrats to CALIFORNIA... We definitly rock!

I agree with Cheer watcher its all about bad karma. It is sad to even hear about you have kids out there who work hard and for that to happen is just a shame that would be the kind of thing that would give the sport a bad name

I just find it hard to believe that any coach would risk a win just to add kids. You would think they would have added those particular kids earlier. I'm not saying it DIDNT happen, but I would think that there are just TOO MANY people who would know something was wrong to pull that off.

Your right OC Mom (by the way I hope your feeling better) but reality is in most things in life there are those who will do anything to win at any expense whether it be sports or just in life and its usually money or the integrity of the Kids and the GYM and when it gets out whats going on then the people who started it just move on with no remorse.
