Does anyone know exactly what happens when you subscribe to a topic? Does it email you if someone posts?

edited: I clicked on "Subscribe" for this thread, and the window changed letting me know that I've subscribed. Still not sure what it will do...time will tell if no one knows.

Nope, no email letting me know that a message has been posted. No notice when I log in, ya know like when you have a PM or a message on your whiteboard. No response from Danny, although with the hundred million things he has to do, I wouldn't think this very high on his list. It's still a mystery.

I got an email last night that cheerwatcher posted in this thread. I guess since I posted before in the thread I subscribed to, it didn't send me the notice.
