It was the thing to say in Jr high! haha! My mom hated when I used it however... I still want one & Will pay if someone can get me one! PM!!!

Sorry guys. I didn't think it was that big of a deal and I didn't mean to upset anyone. I was just stating my opinion and what I thought before. As Jennycheerca said, I think everyone read way into it.
To both you and Jenny, I think if someone wrote that your gym always wore distasteful shirts (worded exactly that way) and had no class, you would be offended and wouldn't feel too much was read into it. How could you not be?
Anyway, I was thinking about the first time I heard someone use the word hecka... it was around 16 years ago, so that phrase has been around hecka long! Hella's just an updated version of it (hecka with a little more emphasis).
An opinion is an opinion. You set yourself up for it everytime you do something. Being that my family is from Texas, I was offended by the "holla yall shirts." So in my OPINION, they were disrespectful.
I think we should just drop it! It's causing more drama than it is worth.
Hey, the drama here isn't too bad and it's interesting to read. I'm not offended by anyone!!! And just 'cause I don't agree with your opinion, doesn't make me right. If your opinion is that a particular gym or area has distasteful shirts, that's fine. That's your opinion!!! I am shocked at things I see everyday. To each his own.

Remember when you first saw a thong hanging out of the back of a young lady's jeans??? Ok, now that's when I was shocked and it takes a lot to shock me!!! hehehehehe
(I still think it's gross but I'm currently fighting our 6 year old to pull his pants up so he doesn't look like a repair man, so I guess I can't talk much)

YAYYYYY CHEER EXPLOSION AND CSE!!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!
YEA, bra straps aren't hidden any longer. Oh you guys would DIE if you saw what the kids wear around here. It's borderline XXX.
When we were in Atlanta, the hotel had an indoor pool. It was 20 degrees outside and we had to remind the kids that we weren't in the OC and you couldn't walk around in your bikinis. The poor staff were walking around with their eyes closed and shocked beyond belief. Boy it's a different world out there.

I hate bra straps showing...... & the rolling of cheer shorts 5,000000000000 times.... & when girls unzip their uniform skirts & let their briefs hang out.... Can we say warm ups????????

Oh yea, gotta agree with you there. Two years ago, we had a girl do the unzip thing WITHOUT her breifs on.
THE RULES CHANGED IN OUR GYM REAL QUICK AFTER THAT ONE.

Our girls aren't aloud to walk around in their uniforms AT ALL. They have to immediately put their warm ups on after they perform. Some of the little ones get away with prancing around while the coaches are busy with the older teams though! LOL
Bladez Mom- I wanted to thank Bladez Cheer on behalf of California Spirit Elite for being so sweet to us this weekend at America's Best. Your coaches were so nice & your girls were very sweet. We were against your teams in Youth Level 2 & Senior Level 3. Thanks again! Coach Lala

Lala- Thanks for the kind words, I will pass them along to the coaches for you! It was a fun competition, your teams looked great! You had very nice parents that sat near our crazy fan patrol. Tell them thank you for putting up with us! I hope we see you again next season.
Everyone Needs To Lighten Up.. There's Seriously Nothing Wrong With The Word Hella. It's an adjective and doesn't even have the same meaning as hell! And Fierce Coach I Know EXACTLY what you're talking about. 3 years ago I was at a comp in San Francisco and we met a team from up there that all said Hella. And To those of you saying your kids aren't "allowed" to say that word among others sorry to burst your bubble but I can guarantee you they say a lot more then you think they do. Just not when you're around. The shirts were great and completely HARMLESS.
