HI EVERYONE!!! With all of my friends that COULDN'T go to Atlanta in mind, I took random photos of different teams just so you all could see the variety of teams that went to Cheersport. I have no idea who anyone is! Also, there's a photo of Danny and I at the end. Morton took it. My camera was sent for photos under the bright light, so it's dark. Sorry!!! Also, I know they are large. I reduced them sooooo much but they are still HUGE!

awwwwwwww thank you!!! I feel like i was there for just a split second! yeeeeeeee!! and I love the picture of the girl with the cast on her leg, how adorable is that thing decorated!? haha. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for sharing! It takes away some of the pining.
I loved the little girl with her cast, too cute! I also liked the different color combination of Flights. As I'm looking through them I'm like "that one reminds me of Athletic Perfection", "that one reminds me of Morgan's Premier", etc.
I didn't shrink them more cause i was lazy. i had to go thru 6 thosand photos (no exaggeration there actually), find the few that i took, edit and crop them so they were presentable and shrink them all on Photoshop so the online program would accept them, put them in the little thingies, then move them each over so they wouldn't go all the way across the screen for a mile or so.... then I saw that they were huge, so i just said, "OH forget it.... they'll get over it." cause that took so long, I didn't feel like doing any more.
I run into this problem cause my camera is a 10 megapixel. It keeps me from emailing them easily. I also can't use many cheap online printing places cause the pics are too big. Costco is the best for this by the way. But when I have to blow them up, they are georgous, so it's so worth it!!! I actually had a parent complain to me the other day that I take too many pictures and that I should organize them by kid (wwe have 360 kids in our gym). That's "what they pay me for" was her comment.
We get $65 at the beginning of the season and this covers practices, parties, showcase and ALL competitions and awards ceremonies even if my kid isn't competing (like today and including dance which tends to be on different dates). Then we post them on our website (www.picturethischeer.com) for them to see and order if they want them sooner than the end of the year. Then at the end of the year, they order as many pictures that they want on a CD for $50. And mind you, every cent that we get goes back into our cheer program, so I don't see a single cent of this money.
I take too many pictures by the way..... uggggggggggggggggg Sometimes people feel so "entitled". They forget what they are really getting. EVERY COMPETITION parents come up to me and say,"Can you take pics of my little Sally? There weren't very many of her at the last competition!" Do they even realize how fast these kids move in those 2 minutes????
Ok, sorry, I'm off my soapbox now..... no need for sympathy. Just complaining today!!!

OC Mom you sound like a busy lady.... I have a husband who loves to take pictures of all the kids at each competition. He is not a professional but has taken some beautiful photos. On an average he takes about a couple thousand each cheer season. So I know that it can be a chore to organize them because that job is usually left for me to do. We take alot of the pictures and make collages for the gym. I think the kids enjoy them. In the past we take the photos and video that we have taken thru the season and I make an End of Year Video. I guess you could say he is the gyms unofficial photographer. He uses a Nikon DSRL digital camera. We take the pictures and post them on Snap Fish to share with everyone and the parents can view and purchase as many prints as they want. I like Snap Fish because we can also upload the competition videos. Also other parents can upload pictures and videos they have taken to share with everyone. Anyway the program I mentioned above is actually great for when you want to post a picture on the message board. It is real easy and only takes a minute or two to resize it. Just make sure you make a copy of the original first.
Abby I'm glad my little tips are helpful.... Thanks.
