oh WOW, 35 miles. Thats intense haha. I hope the fierce coach didn't wear heels, OUCH!

You know, I didn't even check to see if she did! She was behind the barrier so I couldn't tell. I know I wore tennis shoes and even TODAY my calves still hurt!!!

Of course, the venue was huge. They changed the location of the awards. It was at the end, near stage H, behind where the old Cheer Mall was. The Cheer Mall was bigger but they moved it to the side of stages G & H. They also included more cafeteria seating at the very end of everything upstairs, so you could watch people walk by while you ate. It was cool.

I thought I would die by Sunday from all of the walking. I had to walk thru the airport and I swear, I didn't think I would make it!!!!!

I will add some pictures tomorrow night. I took pics of several different teams just so all of you could see....

Congratulations to AceDad's team that placed 4th in the Sr L5 Coed Unlim, how exciting and GREAT job!

Sad to say... I WORE THE HEELS.... both days!!! LOL. I'm laughing so hard right now... because I really did wear heels the whole darn weekend. My new motto is cute always outdoes comfy. LOL. 

It wasn't that bad. I told myself.... "Do not think about your feet Megan, and you wont feel it."

I stuck it out and made it through.... WHEW!!! Lol. It paid off, I got a few compliments on how cute my shoes were!!! Haha.

It was probably more that they were in shock that someone would even be crazy enough to wear heels, so they blurted out the second thing that came into their mind..."Ooohhh, those are cute!?!?"  j/k

I'm in awe, it's hurts me to wear heels sitting on my couch; I couldn't imagine sporting those on my tootsies for two days while walking 35 miles.  That's amazazing!

Well I will tell you this,  I am known in our gym for wearing my most prized Black Flip Flops with everything....all the time...if I am not wearing the flip flops someone better be getting married or it should be a very special occassion.

With that being said I always attempt to wear cute high heels at comps but I never get past the elevator of the floor before they go in the back pack and on go the flip flops.

This past weekend in Dallas I promised to myself to wear fashionable flats.  I made it all day between the Arena and D Hall.  Needless to say my feet were killing me but the shoes looked great!

When my girls were on deck and everyone had there hand in the middle of the cirlce stating how much they wanted to do well and different people were stating different things....you would think that I would of had a great speech , I mean come on we are in Dallas right.  Wrong.  I put my hand in and said " Ok ladies, if I can wear these real shoes all day I know you can hit this routine!" It made them laugh and ease the stress....needless to say it was their best performance to date!  Sadly enough now I think it was the shoes, I am superstitous....Girls please tell me I dont have to wear real shoes ever again!

Oh, the shoesss... it's always a dilemma. I'll be wearing heels today at the Cheer Power competition in San Diego... I needed somewhere to go... so why not a competition. Maybe I'll see some of you there! And next weekend, it's all heels!
