I wish all competition companies posted videos like you do for Spirit Spectacular. It is a great concept and when we get on these boards and start discussing performances and who did what and what the judges did or didn't do right, it is great to be able to look at the videos immediately following the competition and have something to reference.
Thank you for a great comp, videos, and results so quickly.

Does anyone know if any of the kids from Oakridge Trojans have cheered on an All Star competitive team(s)? I know this team is a high school team competing in the All Star division. I was just wondering if any of them have had other experience or training outside of the Oakdridge Trojan program at school.
And I would love to know how they recruit the football players. I've wanted to try this at my daughters school but not sure what is successful in the recruiting process. Any help would be appreciated.

I love that Danny posted the videos for entertainment and team purposes, but not to question how the teams were placed. There is to much of that in cheerleading right now and going back to question the decisions just creates more controversy.

I have wondered the same thing about this school. I think they went to the cheergyms.com camp, but wonder why they compete all-star when they would get plenty of competition at a high school nationals. Has anyone ever spoke to their coach on why she does this?
None of our kids cheer all-stars and per district rules we can't do both high school and all-star. We have a great coach and she has been with the program for a long time. We also have a great feeder program that starts with 7 year olds. The girls recruit the guys but our coach helps in many aspects as well as getting the boys to college as well. There are several reasons we don't compete all-stars and our coach let's the kids decide. Unless we went to florida every year there are limited level 5 co-ed teams. The kids decided if they were going to compete and work hard they at least wanted to have teams to compete against. In california there are only 2 co-ed teams and we would meet up with them really at only at usa nationals. It starts with great coaching and her commitment and level of experience.

That is fair enough, just wondering how you guys can do the head over heels rotation stunts and other things since they are against NFHS guidelines which govern all high school activities. Good luck this season.
Just wanted to mention how wonderful it is to be able to see videos of some great teams all in one spot. I wanted to attend but was pretty ill that day and had to miss it, so to see the routines I missed is a nice second best. I've heard good things about the competition overall.
It would be nice to see scores posted like other comps do; I especially like to see the breakdown in scoring from various judges. Since judging is so subjective, it helps to see if all the judges were in-sync about particular aspects of a routine.
Thanks again for posting the videos so quickly, I'm really enjoying watching them, and hopefully I'll make it next year!
