xtofunk:  Your question makes me laugh!  The COA competition is held on the same day as the CheerGyms competition.  Most of the people that read this board are from CheerGyms.  So take a guess were everyone is going to be?

Well, it has been some time since we've attended COA. It wasn't a great experience. But my biggest concern has been cancellation of competitions. They've had several scheduled in norcal but due to low registration were cancelled. So, not a competition I would want our gym to decide to attend because theres a good chance it won't happen.

Funny thing is I don't believe the cheergyms gyms are attending the Spirit Spectacular.  Maybe it's due to not wanting to appear biased.

The schedule I have doesn't list any competitions for the month of February; however, my schedule is nearly a year old.

Okay, my curiosty took over and surprise, i looked it up online. The comp is being held on SATURDAY FEB.3RD not the 4th in san fransisco (cow palace). I looked at last years results and it showed teams like NCP, gymstars elite, Rebels elite and roseville were there. Roseville took home most grand champions in their divisons. Hopefully one of those teams can shed a little light on how the competition was ran? It would be interesting to see if this one is still planning on being held.

I know we are going ( California Spirit),  Starstruck, and Cheer With a Twist. I also heard Cheer Tyme might come as well. I have always loved COA competitions, their gifts are always great, but they are always VERY organized.

WOW, looks like an interesting comp.

Good luch StarStruck, looking forward to seeing your hip hop teams!!!

Good luck to all the individualists... especially the ones facing competition.

Hoping all the teams do well and have nice clean, injury free performances.

I originally posted that there were too many teams that were going against nobody, but looking closer it's just because they split small and large.  A few teams that usually have competition don't, but most divisions have at least one team to compete against.  Let us know how this one is and good luck to everyone!
