Well from what I saw and heard there was diffinetly a mistake with the cash awards. Also on the 2 and 3 places in the top 6 highest scores. I orginaly heard it was Cheerforce Diamondz first and Fierce 2nd then I heard that Cheerforce Alcatraz had the 2nd highest score. I heard there was some mix up and they corrected it. Cheerforce's web site says Diamondz was highest score and Alcatraz was 2nd. Maybe Fierce and the OC should call Mr. Anderson and find out. Hey why wait for him to call in fact he should have taken it apon himself to fix the situation.
Fierce Coach wrote:Hahahahaa. Sorry Tal... I know you know. I was just posting cause I remembered some other ones. Does anyone remember who won large senior level 3?
haha i was saying that to lanesha, because she was getting crazy and said "i knew the results!" hahah turtle shell....
I don't think Eric made it clear what he was giving out. The top three scores or the top three scoring programs... And he should have. I'm not too sure he was willing to give away 8 grand to one program.
I think we all should stop caring.... and wait for those phone calls. Because I know if there are changes to be made Eric will call. He won't just send a check wit the wrong amount on it.
We'll see!!! Anyway.... Back to the gym this week! It's been crazzzzzzy! Spirit of the South in a insane competition. Ever been anyone? It's pretty fun.

I think, California, that you are missing the point here. Fierce is very happy to have scored as highly as they did....whatever that score may have been. My hope would be that you truly came to support your teams and cheer others on and not simply to win ALL the money on the table (you did win the largest pot - didn't you?). Fierce's teams (you know, those kids' whose scores you speak so losely about?) were there, like everyone else, to compete for TROPHIES! The money is a perk for the adults. It's a bait, if you will, to lure all the owners out so that the competition's people can make even more money. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. This is a fantastic perk for gym owners that will no doubt benefit the kids in the long run. But it was for the owners - NOT the kids! I understand that your point is that the principal of the matter is being ignored. And maybe...just maybe!...you are right to be annoyed by the mistakes made by comp organizers. But the fact is that neither Fierce's owers nor their teams made the mistake! Why not congratulate ALL on some pretty sensational performances and either leave it alone or take it up with Eric (?) on the telephone so that you don't kill the joy of others on this message board. If Eric or whoever wants to change something about the money then he or she will. I'm sure that under normal circumstances you're probably a very rational very nice person. But, honestly!...Putting Fierce down does nothing but show you in a pretty dim light.
Good luck to your teams throughout the rest of the season. I think your kids are always awesome!
Ok, Hmmmm, I have to admit, I am very confused. I'm not sure that LVNDPNKNBLK read something in California's post that I didn't see. Please explain. Maybe California's post sounded harsh to LVNDPNKNBLK? I didn't get that vibe myself. Anyone understand? I truly didn't see any put down of Fierce.

OC Mom, I had to go back too and re-read the post to see what I missed. Only thing I can see is maybe the comment "What was Fierces score?", as if they couldn't have been good. But really, I think you have to read alot into that one. But it happens all the time on message boards and emails.

Your point is our point. My junior kids got taken out of a division the day of the comp, because the other two teams didnt want to go against them due to the fact that they were small. Which they then bumped us to large senior, which I pulled them out of and asked to make large junior cause I didnt think it was fair to fierce senior team to just be thrown in the middle of this which "killed the joy of my juniors having no one to compete against". Then they " killed the joy when they didnt announce them as second". So those kids got there joy killed twice. I am really over this whole thing, i just wanted to let you know it wasnt only your kids that got some joy killed.
Lets just stop, you guys have your joy we can have ours. Its all ok. Everyone breathe, stretch, shake and let it go. (sorry i was listening to the radio earlier)
As far as the money goes lol. The gym paid for every kid to compete, plus yesterday we surprised them and paid to take them all ice skating instead of practicing. The rest will go to equipment. So we dont use it as a perk we use it for our kids..... Although 70 kids was a lot of kids to run away from all there darn flying snow balls.
Ok, I just read my own comment and it does sound unnecessarily harsh. My apoligies to California. I guess that was the last comment that I read so it's the person I addressed (terrible message board etiquette on my part). It just really deflates a celebrated moment for others when the talk continues on about how a gym, in this case Fierce, should not receive the award that was presented before everyone, including the team. The Win meant so much more than just money and I guess I'm just asking to give the topic a break. Let the gym and the kids enjoy the win for a minute. Can't we wait just a bit before turning this into a business matter?
I hope that my tone was better this time. I'm really not trying to argue. Just giving my 2 pennies worth.

Cheerforce Coach we must have been replying at the same time. I just read your reply and understand a little better. I guess we all had our own things we had to deal with. I am sure that this has gotten way out of control and that no harm was meant from either side. Congratulatons on your wins and we truly do wish your kids the best.
Topic dropped and just so you know, we really enjoy watching your teams.
So lets turn this topic around , how about kids say the greatest things. Or the most honest things lol.
Today I woke up and thought to myself, self you havent been to the gym to work out in a long time lol . From all the work I have been doing I havent been to the gym in about 2 months, so I was thinking I should start soon. So I walk in the gym start yelling at a few kids, kick a couple mats and then kiara walks up to me, pinches my tummy and says "oh no shawn whats this". I tell her "I know, I know give me 2 weeks it will be all better". She looks up at me and says "Shawn this looks like it might take 3 weeks" .
Needless to say its on 2 weeks. I will show her . lol
