As of right now Danny and a couple other coaches are helping with this project. We are going to hold off on the deadline for video submission as some people are still tring to work off the food from the holidays lol. We want to have a great selection of kids as we hope other states will follow and I would like for us to set a high standard for others whom may follow.


I am going to place the videos we have so far on a website for everyones viewing pleasure and then we can open up the voting at another time. Please don't feel intimidated in anyway we are looking for all skill levels, as we would like to pick a well rounded team.


The athletes will be asked to volunteer at atleast one fundraiser so personality is a great thing. I am setting up an auction right now in the So Cal area, if there is anyone that would like to volunteer and help out in any way please let Danny or I know.

I think this team is a great idea but I think a HUGE problem will be allowing other teams to submit their videos to Cheerforce.  We are at a large gym in So Cal and we have a ton of kids who are excellent.  The only thing is that we are not allowed to be involved in this. So if our gyms thinks this I am fairly positive other gyms are thinking the same thing.  The only way to truly get a dream team is to involve all of the coaches from all of the teams.  I appreciate Cheerforce stepping up to start something but the only real way to make it happen is to make sure that everyone is involved in the process.

Are you only going to have one team with all different ages?  Or are you going to have a couple of teams and go by age?? or skill?

Tell your coach there selfishness is hurting special needs kids. This will be started no matter what. We have some videos from Cheerforce, Power and Cheergyms. If thats all that this team consists of this year that is fine. As long as we get a group of people together that wanna work to help kids in need thats all that matters. The update also shows we are looking for anyone that wants to volunteer and only a few coaches said they would.


Way to set an example California and show the rest of the country that we can't even come together to help out special needs kids.

I agree!!  Cheer Odyssey every year volunteers at the Special Olympics and it's great!!  It's teaching our children a wonderful thing!!

We are open to all levels and skills. We want to put together a team or two that will practice together twice during the summer and then perform at a charity event to raise money for special needs kids. Send videos to babychangeapparel@hotmail.com we will host them on a website, then vote on a team.
